Description

Set in Paris, Cateau is a visual novel that takes the idea of friendship and investigates it through a particular lens – what it might take to actually be a friend in more than concept alone. As the protagonist, you come to understand that your friend and roommate Roselle is unwell. You take it upon yourself to try and rekindle that spark of life that seems to have gone out by engaging in one of her former interests, cats. While sauntering up and down the cozy streets of the City of Lights, whether it be to get to work, run errands, or simply enjoy the town, you will come to encounter three distinctly different cats. Their personalities being fundamentally unlike one another, it's up to you to enter unfamiliar waters, figuring them out as you attempt to bring your friend back. The multiple, varied endings give each choice, big or small, tangible consequence.

5 ★ I really liked the idea of the game, and I also liked the graphics too. The three cats are different and I enjoyed all their interactions. The amount it took to finish wasn't too short nor was it too long. When I got to the end of the game I can't help but think. "Would there be a part 2?" "A part where you can help Ro with her cat shelter business?" "Where the player can go and search for strays to rescue, and get people to adopt?" I question what'll happen after, and how the cat shelter will turn out. Anywho i'm just a kid who question stuff too much, pay no mind. P.S In the living room I saw the mario figure, and in the canal I saw the nyan cat on the wall. Nice eastereggs 👌👌👌

5 ★ This game was probably the best game I've played in 2017-2018 it's so fun it's pretty short but it's so bright and bubbly and has a calm cool vibe. The cats all have different yet funny and cute personalities! I originally went for the first cat you met the slim one that has been in fights and has a tore ear but .... I ended getting them all and personally I thought I got the best ending possible. Your friend ends up changing for the better and your choices impact who and what she becomes and keeps people alert about problems with strays and high kill shelters and let's people be aware if it and let's people know about companion animals for people who need them. I loved it 100/10 I would totally recommend this game to anyone even people who aren't cat fans!

5 ★ this is a sweet little game with lovely illustrations. it is short, but it is also free so I appreciate it! I usually don't like story choice based games, but the personalities of the cats were fun and I wanted to read more. you also have a human friendship which explores a little bit of a mental health theme.

4 ★ Amazing graphics. I was loving the game, but then it crashed right when I go to work. I thought it only happens a couple times so I restarted the game. After five times restarting the gsme and it still not working I deleted it. It is definitely a good game that I would love to come back too. Fix the crash and I might redownload the app.

4 ★ Lovely gameplay, but i wish it was longer. Played through in an hour or so. I'd like to see more cats and storyline, but the graphics and story it has now are very nice. Keep up the good work!

5 ★ A sweet story with pretty art. It took me 3 tries to get all three cats but I did it in one day. The more cats you get the more your friend with depression improves and the ending when you get all three will leave smiling.

1 ★ i am extremely disappointed! the reviews and clips of this game were very good from what i saw, but as soon as i type my name in, it crashes! i would really like to enjoy this game, but i can't because it won't load and stay. can you please fix this? thanks!

4 ★ I want to give this game a 5 star rating. . but i can't. It's way too short. . probably the shortest game I've played. it ended so suddenly and i wasnt expecting that. I enjoyed it so i suppose that's why I'm so disappointed about the short ending. =^ ^=
