Description
Globesweeper is a twist on the classic minesweeper game. Use the numbers to work out all the tiles that are safe to reveal but be careful one mistake revealing a mine will cause the whole globe to detonate and you will have to start again!
With hexagon, triangle and classic square game modes, 5 different globe sizes and 4 difficulty settings you can be playing on anything from tiny hexagonal globes made of 92 tiles to colossal triangle globes with 20,480 tiles.
Play in traditional or guaranteed solvable mode where you never have to guess.
Gain achievements to unlock all 14 themes including planet Earth, the Moon, Mars, stylish gold, ruby, emerald and sapphire.

3 ★ It really needs to have separate buttons to flag and click normally. I was almost through a colossal game and was holding the button down and accidentally let go too soon. It blew up and I had to start over again.
5 ★ The concept of the globe is fine on the hex grid and the square grid, it's just minesweeper with a twist that doesn't really add anything, but the triangle grid... That triangle grid really forces you to think differently about minesweeper. Also, everything is guaranteed solvable, you're never forced to guess (unlike what that other person said). That said, it doesn't make it easy, just possible. The only annoying thing is that you have to watch an add every now and then to generate a new map.
1 ★ Game lost my interest when it told me to watch an ad or come back later. Better solution would be to ask me to watch an ad to diffuse a mine rather then force an add after so many plays. The difference is I am given a second chance to beat my score, if I have a good time I am more likely to watch an ad, which would increase your ads watched and potentially your ecpm. One of the worse things you can do to your players is limit their ability to play by ads. Ads should be rewarding, and helpful
3 ★ I really want to love this game because of how great the gameplay is and how many different ways to change the playing field there are. What's holding me back from a 5 star rating is that you can only play a few times before you have to watch an ad to play more, regardless if you win or lose. What's worse is that, for me, watching the ad did nothing; I was unable to generate a new game. If those issues are resolved, this could easily be a 4 star game.
4 ★ Fun game! A great variant of minesweeper. One note though; guaranteed solvable is not always working. Sometimes you get weird clusters of mines where you have a selection of 3 that is not calculatable. So it's up to dumb luck if you want it to be right. Can't count how many games i lost with 1500 mines + cleared due to this :(( other than that. Entertaining!
4 ★ it's a cool time waster, but I don't understand how to properly solve the triangle ones so I just do the classic and hexagon maps. I like that you could just play on one giant ball for a long time, which sadly comes with a problem that is one misclick and your progress is gone... I'm not ready to pay for a diffusal kit and I think that is cheating anyways... I'll have to wait to get a new phone before I can play this more since my phones cracked display registeres touch where there was none.
2 ★ Come back later? What, are all of these games taking place ONLINE and you can't afford to optimize your network code or pay for bandwidth? WHY? It's not an MMO. Also I just held down a hex to place a flag and had the mine explode. RUDE! Oh and in flag mode, tapped a square to place a flag but triggered a mine! What's the point of flag mode if that happens? I'm coming back later. This better be fixed by the time I get back.
5 ★ There was a version of 3d minesweeper for Palm devices many years ago but never one that was any good for Android. Until now! This is outstanding and has become the only game I play daily. My virus app falsely flagged it so I emailed the dev to let him know, and to ask about a better one handed option. He got right back to me and reaffirmed my conclusion about the false positive (though I already was certain because Google would've flagged it and I checked it with another av app). He also told me that he is changing the app to make it easier to flag bombs and avoid the one hand slip detonate issue. Great game and cool developer. Minesweeper fans need this.
4 ★ the game is a great extension of the basic minesweeper concept. My only beefs are a few minor bugs. When switching away and back from another app, the mode switches from shovel to flag on its own and I often dont notice and fail on the next click. There are also some zoom issues when using the circularized cube option that make it hard to get close enough for some parts of the board to use safely on a phone. otherwise I love the game.
1 ★ Really good game... But you cant start a new game after failing, unless you watch an obnoxious ad in its entireity. Really disappointing. Just charge up front maybe? I hate this new era of mobile games where its just ads on ads. So obnoxious. Anyways enjoy your new 1 star review. make your game playable without ads. if its a free game im not paying to play it without ads.
1 ★ You either have to watch ads or close and reopen the app to start a new game, which is a bafflingly bad design choice. the constant tutorial messages also interrupt gameplay and the game itself recognizes dragging as you checking for mines - resulting in losing the game. The idea was good but I would not recommend this game.
2 ★ It used to be great. Sadly now it is full of adverts. If you lose, you have to watch loads of them just to get back on. I understand why they chose to run adverts... but this is ridiculous. If you kill off any enjoyment, then all your players will abandon you. Then you won't even make a penny! Disappointing.
5 ★ Really inventive. If you like minesweeper and want creative twists to keep it interesting I highly recommend! Bonus points: 1. Super moderate ads! Like once every ten rounds. 2. Monetisation really fair and simple, no pressure to buy, just an option to buy some defusers for cheap if you want to tackle those colossal spheres! Plus there are a few skins you can buy, but most you unlock with achievements! 3. I really like the chill music 4: It's really fun unlocking the skins!
2 ★ A really good idea and well executed game, but it's minesweeper somehow made pay2win. I really can't appreciate a game and relax when every time I lose it asks if I want to pay money to un-lose. UPDATE: I cant ignore the pay2win when the game has a popup after every loss asking me to pay to un-lose. Paid power-ups arent just "not for everyone", they're bad for gaming as a whole. You really should just sell skins and themes for this kind of game, or charge for the game itself.
5 ★ Refreshingly new take on a venerable classic, really well-made. Those who play for free should take away one star due the avalanche of ads. Expensive 'add-ons' -- five fails corrected with 'defusing' will cost you a dollar. Ouch! Better swallow your pride, learn from your mistake(s) and do it again. Buy ad-free if you like the game! Nowadays, microtransactions and ads are far more common than upfront buys for services, but I am a little oldskool. Just remember: you'll pay either way.
