Wings of wrath is an air combat game which mixes some slice
of reality from the aerial combat simulation games with the
arcade aircraft games which makes the game quite thrillingly
challenging and yet very fun.

It is a top down warplane game with tilt and gesture controls
which brings a new kind of fun game play to airplane war games.
The different missions in the game are set in different
landscapes.The environments are simple yet elegant with low
poly style.

The missions of the game offer quite a variety. Some missions
are about destroying the strategic ground targets to gain
superiority in the war.While in some missions you are given
the task to repulse enemy army offensive in your area and in
some you are given the task to help your army forces capture
an area. In some missions you will have to destroy enemy
warplanes approaching to bombard your area, and in some you
will have to escort your bombers safely to their target areas,
protecting them from the potential threats.

Some missions are
about gaining total air superiority with your jet fighters
in which you will have to fight the enemy army planes, and
occasionally you might find yourselves in dogfight.
Although the game is related to modern fighter jets, dogfight
is a crucial part of it, which makes the game a lot more fun.
In some missions you will also be accompanied by a wing man
to assist you.

There are five different airplanes in the game with different
roles and capabilities such as speed and ammo capacity. The
three roles of the planes are:
Bomber: The jet that can carry a lot of bombs but does not
have the radar thus, it cannot make use of guided weapons.
These flying machines are assigned Strike missions or close
air support missions.
Attacker: The army plane is especially designed to carry out
close air support missions. These fighting planes have the
capability to fly at low speeds and have radars thus, they can
lock ground vehicles or aircraft in order to shoot guided
missiles.
Fighter: The fighter jets have advantage of flying at high speed
and can carry very effective missiles.So, these planes can
be effective in dogfights and to gain total air superiority or
to safely escort the bombers to their target areas.

The different kinds of threats in the game include:
AAA guns: These guns fire shells at the planes while they do
not inflict a lot of damage, they can still give you hard time.
SAM Units: The Surface to Air missiles are radar guided missiles
which can only be evaded with the real missile evasion technique
called beaming which is taught in the game.
Fighter Jets: The jet fighters can be very lethal. The fighter
jets also fire radar guided missiles at you while also
maneuvering to get you.
