Download the latest FPV Freerider demo application, version 3.5, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Simulation app is developed by FPV Freerider and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 3.5, 3.4, 2.9, 2.6, 2.4, 1.8, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
This is a RC flight simulator, not a game. You might find that the controls are hard, but that's because it's made to mimic flying a real life racing quadcopter.
Supports physical controllers. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to use a good physical controller, it makes flying so much easier and more enjoyable compared to using touchscreen controls.
Fly (and crash!) all you want regardless of rain, wind, sleet or snow.
Supports first person view (FPV) and line of sight (LOS) flying.
Includes self-leveling and acro mode.
This simulator requires a powerful device. You will get best performance if you select low resolution and low graphics quality on the main menu. Also, if possible activate "Performance Mode" or similar in your phone settings to get the best performance.
Note: This demo is just so you can try if it works on your setup. The drone in this demo has deliberately sluggish settings. In the full version you can tune the settings precisely to your liking.
This demo includes one scene (the desert). The full version of FPV Freerider includes six sceneries as well as a racetrack generator that can generate millions of tracks by procedural generation. The full version also has setup options for rates, camera and physics, as well as 3D flight mode for inverted flying. The full version also supports Google Cardboard style VR goggles.
Touchscreen controls support mode 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Mode 2 is default input:
Left stick - Throttle/Yaw
Right stick - Pitch/Roll
If the simulator doesn't work on your device, it doesn't work, simple as that. Most probably nothing to be done about it. Giving a low rating does not help.
If your device supports USB OTG and you have the right cable you can try to use a USB gamepad/RC controller for better control.
Physical controllers are configurable between mode 1,2,3 and 4.
There is no guarantee that it will work with your device/controller, please try this free demo first to see.
Controllers that have been successfully used include FrSKY Taranis, Spektrum, Devo, DJI FPV, Turnigy, Flysky, Jumper, Radiomaster, Eachine, Detrum, Graupner and Futaba RC radios, Realflight and Esky USB Controllers, Logitech, Moga, Xbox and Playstation gamepads. 3 ★ The game says it has deliberately sluggish settings so you can see if works with our set up. I don't understand this? Sure only one location is available but wouldn't you want us to see the better version that isn't sluggish? Based on this sluggish version I wouldn't purchase it. I understand is a simulation. It's hard to find the middle on the control stick. On a real drone you let go of the sticks and it auto levels out. This sim doesn't. It would be sweet if you could walk around from the person prospective view. Maybe touch where you want to go onscreen.
2 ★ So little to the demo it makes the prospect of buying the full version not appealing.
4 ★ Freerider is a retty good Sim. i have the remastered ..or remixed? idk.. full version on my pc. Biggest thing i don't really love, is anytime you bump an obstacle it makes you lose control, crash, and restart. even slow bumps, or barely grazing a gate or something. In real life you'd glance off these kinds of things and keep flying. Also wish it allowed you to turtle out of minor crashes when you land upside-down.
5 ★ This sim might have saved me $100's of millions. Well a lot. LOL I went through Josh Bardwell's turtorial, and quickly found out that acro mode is all that will make you comfortable, once you make the leap. Before you've fully "made the leap", I couldn't even GET to a gate, much less go through one. But it's not hard, it would be fine for self leveling practice, but I had more than quite a few crashes that would have happened outdoors, and the drone held up fine. LOL
5 ★ Its the best simulator for fpv on Mobile, i like it.It would be nice if you could change the colour of props on los mode, i coudnt barely see the orientation of the kwad in my mobile screen, its good enough on the pc(the orientation), but bot on the mobile, ive asked abt changing the prop colours already in a thread, but u said it would be on the next version, but it aint there,Im hoping for change of prop colours in the next version.Plus the kwad looks vintage.Overall the sim is good.
5 ★ Awesome game that can be used with your favourite transmitter and be headset making it remarkably close to the real thing. İnteresting maps (you'll need a fast phone to render the most complex ones without chugging) and a nice lap timer makes for a good experience. Development recommendation: have other (AI or real human controlled) drones flying at the same time or at least include a ghost lap so I can see where I flew on my last lap. Thanks!

3 ★ Want to get in to fpv drone flying looks fun so I gave this a try but the controls for it make it to hard and not accurate when pressing up it slightly goes to the left or right which causes big problems when trying to fly through posts on desert would of got full version but ain't no point if can't get past to gates. seen some one using a proper controller looked a lot better that way more accurate
5 ★ This sim is mint.. Its leaps and bounds above any joke FPV sim on here... Trust me I've tried them... Only one other drone fpv(wanna be sim) was ok... But still not in this class... You can trust this is going to get you ready for racing our at least not crashing your drone so much... I honestly rate this sim 100/100 for physics Well done....
5 ★ i was able to connect my transmitter to my phone with OTG cable and it worked. made the game much more enjoyable even though the throttle has some lag in it (maybe because of the free version?). other controls worked just fine and i'd say the full version is well worth the tiny sum of money.
5 ★ This is awesome! I'm using my DX6 G2 but it just spins uncontrollably. I'm guessing it's just a setting that's off. I've tried calibrating and everything is dead on except that. Any ideas? Once I figure it out, I am game to Fly. And if I like it, I'll buy it.
4 ★ Simply the best fpv drone/quad simulator for android and google playstore!! Saving up for full version and cant wait to see other stages and options!! Would be getting 6🌟 rating if we could at least get a peek at whats to come in full version but in no way am i complaining!!
1 ★ I wanted to try the demo version and then go for the full version.. developers set the demo version in un usable condition.. so definitely not gona go pro version.. What i meant is: I wanted to feel how the contols are.. i felt like its too clumsy and not stable and i got a note the controls are intentionally kept wobly in free version
5 ★ this is an excellent Sim! They really nailed the feel of flying a quadcopter. I've gone from struggling with basic turns on my old sim (too twitchy, bad physics model), to figuring out how to power loop almost on my own within about a week.
