Description
A Step Ahead™ is a walking adventure game that's powered by your physical activity. Use your real-world steps and exercise to complete missions in the wasteland, upgrade your character, and go on an epic fitness adventure.
Getting started is simple:
1. Download the A Step Ahead™ app
2. Click your organization's personalized invite link or enter the Invite Code for your organization's challenge in the ASA app**
3. Use your real-world steps and exercise to go on an interactive fitness adventure

Zombies are here… and they're hungry! You and your team will face a variety of challenges, obstacles and distance goals as you run (or walk) through a zombie-infested wasteland, helping other survivors and working to help those in need and rebuild society.
Robotica™
What happens when the world's richest man, Albus Mousse, builds a sentient A.I. and charges it with protecting humanity? It determines that the biggest threat to mankind is… mankind. Race to avoid capture while you look for a way to shut down the servers and free the people "helped" by the army of rogue robots.
Invasion™
They came from beyond the horizon, but why? And for what? Alien invaders are here and they're setting up shop on planet Earth. Work with your team across this adventure series to figure out why the aliens are here and how to get them to leave the planet.

Game permissions
A Step Ahead 2.24.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

1 ★ App never syncs steps. Only seems to do it at the end of the day, and it's never the correct amount. Tried all of the help steps. Support hasn't replied to emails.
2 ★ Super fun and competitive, but no prevention of cheaters (manual step entries). I will not play next year when our place of work offers this event due to excessive cheating.
5 ★ We used the Outbreak to organize a company challenge with 35 participants across 5 teams: it was a blast! Everyone stayed engaged, the top 3 teams became quite competitive and this generated a lot of banter/interactions between people who have been decentralized by the pandemic. Highly recommend! A couple minor tech glitches were easily fixed along the way (quick response time from support). Shout-out to Kim Kerlegan from the Fix-Health team for her help before/during the challenge!
2 ★ It started off great, was enjoying it, then after a few days, my steps are adding up but I cannot use them. I've looked at everything online but cannot find a solution. So 2 stars.
1 ★ Complete the challenge. Never received an email to get my medal. Sent two emails to support but no response. Loved the app and was looking forward to continue future challenges but just a bad experience in the end.
4 ★ The Outbreak has certainly inspired me and my teammates to step it up. The reward for meeting one's personal step goal is paltry, though; it's the team goal that drives us.
5 ★ App didn't sync all the time. I had to uninstall and reinstall a few times. Overall it was fun and motivating.

4 ★ Would be 5 stars but need to be able to sync trackers from more brands, like Aquarius.
1 ★ its only playable if you spend money theres not even a tutorial to see if you want to play or not
3 ★ App was great would have liked a reminder that my 30 days was nearly up and I could have pushed to finish the race
1 ★ Constantly crashes, cant log in key board never fully loads.
3 ★ Not good instruction is available for how to sync your steps, google fit, or etc. with this app.
5 ★ I really enjoy using this app. I makes me move more and makes it fun whuke I track my progress
