Find Words is a multiplayer word game for 1 to 8 players. The game is played using a grid of 9 letters in which players attempt to find words.

RULES:

The game begins by generating a new combination of letters. (Letters are randomly chosen from the English ABC.) After they have settled into the grid, a two-minute countdown timer is started and all players (sitting around the mobile/tablet) simultaneously begin to search for words that can be constructed from the letters. Words must be at least three letters long, may include singular and plural (or other derived forms) separately. One letter can be used as many times in a word as many times it is in the grid.
Each player records all the words he or she finds by writing on a private sheet of paper. After the two minutes have elapsed (listen to the sign), all players must immediately stop writing.

Scoring:

Each player reads off his or her list of discovered words. If two or more players wrote the same word, it is removed from all players' lists. Any player may challenge the validity of a word, in which case the reader must use the word in a sentence to verify or refute it. For all words remaining after duplicates have been eliminated, points are awarded based on the length of the word:

Word lenght – Points
3 letters – 1
4 letters – 1
5 letters – 2
6 letters – 3
7 letters – 5
8+ letters – 11

The winner is the player whose point total is the highest.
