Game permissions

ChessCube Chess 1.0.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ There is nothing other than basic functionality. Converting a web version to an app , how hard could that be ? Even the basic version is incomplete. Disappointed. Even Zynga's chess with friends is way better than this

2 ★ Everything in the user interface is so small as if this app is designed for phones with 3 inches screen. Besides the app crashes a lot of time when I'm in the middle of a game and after I restart the app my game is considered as forfeit and thus I rarely complete any games.

3 ★ I'm giving 3 stars because I can't log in been trying for the last few days but keep getting an error saying the servers are busy.... the 3.stars are because I'm sure this app is brilliant when it works and it's been long awaited for alot of people.... please Chesscube sort your servers out.... thanks

2 ★ It keeps saying ''error connecting to our server. Please try again later'' What is that all about? I even have a fast wi-fi

2 ★ Great to finally have an app but sadly lacking in features. Cons: 1. No option to view seeks.of select seeks from seek list 2. No Friends list 3. Chat disabled 4. Game variant limited to Standard Pro: fast interface and response to touch input

2 ★ This app needs lots of work. Limited options compared to desktop is not good enough. Match making was terrible. Maybe it's servers but could not start a game. There's no tournament selection option. Come on guys. Create a robust app with full functionality. Follow the Android guidelines for design. This app is not even ready for soon to be released Android L. This app is completely rushed and half baked.

2 ★ For now it deserves only two stars from me because it doesn't have anything that other chess apps don't have and it's very limited thus far. Even though everything works you can only choose either 1, 3 or 5 minute games and the bottom rank is hardly visible on some devices because of the system bar.

2 ★ On my computer it is really awesome.. But mobile version sucks... Please modify this app like the desktop mode.. Then all problems are gonna be solved... Now rating 2.. Please make it like desktop version, then the rating will be 5/5 ....

3 ★ Im an experienced chesscuber and I've been waiting for such an app for a longtime. Downloaded it and played 2 games from it. I felt like the app needs serious improvements. Here are my suggestions. 1.draw by repetition should be checked again cos my game was drawn by the server just after repetition of a move just once. 2.game seeking options are limited (ex: rating range) 3.a way to watch chess videos

3 ★ Extremely limited options. 3 time controls to choose from. Only a seek option to choose from as you can't see others offers. One board and piece set. Needs a lot of work fellas

2 ★ To use this app u need to know how to cheat your opponents, otherwise u will loose every game though u r the better player.. Really chesscube don't have any control over the cheat n cheaters.. It's really annoying

1 ★ App larger than screen! How can they allow 10% developed app's. Im sure this doesnt even work on the developers simulator! Dammit man it makes me so f... angry I'll pop a vain!!! 10,000 Downloads! Im sure 9,999 uninstalled! No response! I think the app has been abandoned!

5 ★ I've been loosing more than 200 games by waiting for my turn to play until its says my oponent forfeits on time and i lose my cubits like it was me who forfeit. Its so annoying. Fix it as quick as you can. Thanks

2 ★ This app does not reflect well on chesscube's great web site. It offers no game controls, no 960, no friends list, no game replay--nothing. It's good for two things: watching random chess matches or playing a 5min round if an opponent shows up. There's lots of room for improvement, so i hope an update is in the works, otherwise I'll play chesscube on pc.

1 ★ I've been a user of the website for over 4 years, so you can tell that I really like it. This app is such a poor attempt at offering the service on Android. The layout is not at all finger friendly, with everything being very small. You only have a limited option of possible combinations of time and prices for the games, you have no way of knowing if your opponent disconnected, sometimes the rating does not reflect the result of the games...I am really disappointed and I consider switching to something else
