Mei is an app meant to help you with your relationships. We combine algorithms, machine learning and big data to create features that help you better understand yourself and the people you communicate with.

Improving your relationships start with better understanding yourself. Within seconds of downloading our app, you’ll see a full personality profile showing you how you engage with the world. Unlike most personality tools, which ask question after question, we don’t need any input from you to generate your profile. Our app uses algorithms to analyze the text messages already on your phone.

By simply opening the app, you’ll get your personality across five primary dimensions: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. This type of profiling, known as Big 5, is the most widely accepted system used by psychologists around the world.

Each dimension consists of 6 traits such as outgoing vs. reserved, trusting vs. skeptical, traditional vs. liberal. Mei will show you where you score in all 30 traits (5 dimensions x 6 traits each) compared to over 10,000 people. The more messages you have the more reliable the analysis is.

Not only can you get your own profile, but you can get profiles of friends and close contacts, also based on existing conversations in the phone.
