Ganga jal APK

From the Ancient Times, “Ganga Jal” is known for its uniqueness. Religious and Scientific literature has described about astonishing properties of Ganga Jal which also is known as Amrit/ Brahmadravya”.
Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has brought-out an APP called “Ganga Jal” which conveys Water Quality of River Ganga from Gangotric (Uttarakhand) to Diamond Harbor (West Bengal) for its fitness for “Drinking” and “Bathing”. The quality of Ganga Jal has been assigned based on the Primary Water Quality criteria evolved by CPCB and the criteria placed by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFF&CC) for “Bathing Purpose”.
The Quality of Ganga Jal is based on monitoring carried out by the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. For presenting, Water Quality data of latest monitoring month (2018) is also to inform that several measures are undertaken by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) with concerned State agencies to rejuvenate the River Ganga to maintain to its natural and pristive condition.
