Description
iVMS-4500 (Android) mobile client software, which is designed for mobile phone on the basis of Android OS (Version 4.0 or higher), can be used to remotely monitor the live video from embedded DVR, NVR, network camera, network speed dome and encoder via wireless network, play back record files, locally store and manage pictures and videos, control alarm output and realize PTZ control as well.
With this software installed in your phone, you are able to log onto the front-end device via Wi-Fi or 3G; besides, if there is no public IP available for the device, it’s accessible by using a dynamic domain name, or by mapping ports to the public IP of router.
Notes:
1.Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G access service must be supported by the phone.
2.Network traffic charges may be produced during the use of this client software. Please refer to the local ISP.

Note
1.The live view effect is related to the performance of the network and phone hardware. If the live view is not fluent or the screen appears blurred, please reduce the resolution, frame rate and bitrate of the camera, or decrease the image quality in the software.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to request installing packages.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
This constant was deprecated in API level 8. The restartPackage(String] API is no longer supported.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

1 ★ Useless. If you are offered this cctv system do not buy. The app rarely works anymore rendering the whole thing useless. You can only see the camera stream if you use the monitor attached to the cameras. The app no longer works. So if you are hoping for remote monitoring of your property use something else. Any company selling this rubbish should be banned from offering home cctv. We have has the system in only a couple of years and now have to pay again for a system that actually works.
1 ★ I'm having real problems with the new app it just doesn't work no matter how many times I remove and replace it. It keeps telling me there is a new app so doesn't even recognize itself. You developers need to review and revise, maybe even go back to the old version which did work.
1 ★ Useless!! The old version of the app worked great, but stupidly I "upgraded" to the new version and it's absolute rubbish!! I haven't been able to see live view or any images whatsoever since the so called upgrade. I'm highly disappointed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times now, but it still does nothing.
4 ★ Android app stopped working suddenly and can no longer view cameras. Going to another dvr make. Have used the DVR for years and the DVR shows it's connected to the Internet but the android app stopped working a couple days ago. Can't figure out why. Call hikvision and they tell me that they're not the manufacturer of my DVR serial number but that's not true because I called them in past years. Do not buy Hikvision products. Next day started working again so increased to 4 stars. No idea why.
5 ★ Up and running. Works live view. Can be hit or miss, depending on mobile data connection speed, but disconnect and reconnect it will work. Have 6 cameras constantly recording. One camera is set up for motion detection to take pics and send email alert. Would recommend hikvision, good product support. Lots of videos and support third party cameras.
1 ★ Terrible app! Once registered and if you visit the app again, the live view does not work. You have to basically uninstall the app and reinstall it everytime you want to see a live view. A real schoolboy dev error, come on fix it quickly!
1 ★ Old app was better, I haven't seen such kind off rediculus app in life. Every time it is showing loading not able to view remotely. I think I wasted my money by purchasing hikvision camera. Hikvision kindly look into you app and resolve our issue.
5 ★ Suppose I am having some smart phone which is not on latest operating platform. In this phone I am using your old (previous) version, some how it is delited and I am required to down load the same but it is not there in app store. Now when I download this version it says your phone is not compatible. It seems that your this latest version is not useful for me, I am compelled to have new handset which I am not in position to efford...
1 ★ Worked great until I needed to access my cameras and found that it could not connect. The sole purpose of using this app was to access my cameras remotely. Does not do anything, now, despite the server and Wi-Fi details being entered and which were already working for the past 2 years!
1 ★ Awful - very complicated This is not the easiest app to use, and certainly not Samsung, WiFi or data. I would not recommend this as trying to see is worse than pulling chickens teeth. I to be able to click on my app and hey presto it works. Need to look for something else that is better. Continually show a Chinese platform
5 ★ The old app crashed on my Samsung tablet. Loaded this app which I believe is the updated version. Cannot remember how got the page but 'Hangzhou china drv' came up before my system details were fully entered. I clicked on it and four empty grey video boxes came up. My system is domestic and works very well. Note. If you already have old cameras, I have 3, added a 4th and the new camera gives a much better definition. Ideal for domestic & low level secure sites.
1 ★ Often will not connect to system. Sometimes I can view recording, sometimes I can't. Every time this app is updated it get worse. Will be looking at a different system as this is rubbish.
1 ★ it was working first for almost a years, then sudenly stopped working around beginning June, its now July 2020 it works intermittently, 1 out of 20 attempts works. I already installed, dis- install forcedstop, check all connections. Not Reliable. what good does it do to have camaras if I have no access.
1 ★ This worked great for 2 years. The app updated and no longer can we view from anywhere except in our home. No more mobile views or any other wifi except our own. This SUCKS!!!
1 ★ Bad. I had 3 incidents last night and was desperate for the footage and this app failed completely and the only way to fix it was to uninstall and reinstall it to find my footage was gone. I had two attempts and the app died on me again. I was already stressed because of the incident requiring me to need the footage but to find it was gone was distressing.
