3 ★ Great game, good graphics and plot, but as many of the other reviews state, energy stores and cost are ridiculous. I don't mind paying up to $4.99 for a good game, but that's my limit. Hopefully they can fix this issue.
1 ★ This is truthfully a really great game, but it's ruined by the worst energy model of any hidden item game I've played. Even in other games you can watch ads over and over to stack up energy. Here you watch one and then have to wait 4 hours for another ad to be available so you can do another 2 tasks.
4 ★ Excellent puzzles and tasks! The only thing I don't like about it is that the energy used is way more than what I can replenish. I have to wait for the weekend to play, and build up my energy during the week.
4 ★ I love the game. But there is so little time to play before energy runs out. And it takes a long time to regenerate. What play time you get is a lot of fun.
1 ★ Very fun addicting game to play. One major problem I find is the use of the energy, it dwindles as you progress within about 20 minutes. I'll forget what I was after when I get back to the game. Then after 8 hours of not playing I didn't receive much energy. Makes me want to delete this game and go back to a different game I was playing that had longer play time. $30 I spent so far has upset me.
2 ★ I like the game, but actions require way too much energy, there is no bar to alert you how much energy you're losing and it takes a very long time to replenish energy. I would like to play more, but will most likely end up uninstalling because it is very frustrating to play for 5 minutes and then wait for another 24 hours to get enough energy back to finish a task.
2 ★ I'm so disappointed. I have loved all the artifex mundy games. But not this one. You need to use 'energy' to play. Which comes in the form of lightening bolts. At first everything is good. Then you need to buy energy to continue. Plus the game is quite juvenile. I'm going to uninstall. Buyer beware of this one
1 ★ Hands down the worst energy system in any mystery game. Story plot is fun and engaging but pointless as you make such little progress due to energy consumption that just to progress 20% in a single story has taken me an entire week. I can play through the puzzles in less then 20 minutes and then turn off the game because I'm out of energy again. Also the game is specifically designed for you to have to go back and forth between objectives using your energy up not even solving the puzzles.
1 ★ I cannot give this game the five stars I want to due to the energy system alone. For a full recharge, it takes an entire day. A whole 24 hours. When playing, you use up so much of it completing tasks and puzzles, that in less than 15 minutes, it's gone again. There's no way I'm gonna pay for an energy refill. The stories seem to be quality, but the energy recharge is a massive dumpster fire. So so terrible.
4 ★ The series keeps me busy on those times when i'm not busy. Its worth it. But i do have a dicripency with buying golden pass, like I purchased the 5k ticket, before my purchase I had 580 still in account, when I looked at my total clue box after, it showed me 4580, where did my 1k go.. To me its just a game, but still I should be getting what I payed for. I'll let you settle this. I'll still be playing the series and I'll let you know if it presist. But plese have a look at that and fix it please
1 ★ This would be an amazing game, but for the energy restraint. About 5 minutes a day. That's it. Unless of course you pay to get more energy. The story is interesting, and the puzzles are great. Unfortunately i have forgotten what was going on by the time i get enough energy to continue. Then 5 minutes of play and stuck again. Frustrating beyond belief.
1 ★ Fun mysteries but the energy you get is horrible. You play 5 to minutes and you're done. You also don't see how much you have and how much each task takes. For example, you play a find the hidden object game and it costs energy for each pick! They don't have a way to watch commercials for energy and you get free 20 energy a day which lasts a few moves only. I'm going to finish the beginner story band then uninstall. I don't recommend this game unless you want to spend a lot of money.
3 ★ The game would be better if I knew how much energy i have and what the cost PER ACTION is as well as what costs energy. You do not even know that it is a game that you have to watch your energy until you run out the first time. Too many things use more energy than you would think. For instance you would think that hammering in nails would be one action, but it is 2 one to put the nails on the axe and another to actually do the nailing. Oh and then another to pick up the axe.
3 ★ Great game. I would give it maximum stars but how quickly power gets used and you are expected to buy more spoils it.

There isn't even a way to watch commercials for energy. The offer a free 20 energy a day which lasts a 2-3 moves only. By the time I have enough energy to do anything ice forgotten half of the story. I don't recommend this game unless you want to spend a lot of money.
