1 ★ Junk. Have had 2 camera failures. The latest Dome Lite 2 will not connect to my router after it disconnected. It connects to my Xfinity Service at 2.4g and displays a strong signal within the Xfinity app under my equipment. The Blu Rams App will not connect and displays the camera can not connect to 5g service. This after an app upgrade. All my other 2.4g smart devices and new add-ons connect with no issue. Checked with Blurams customer service, and they are as usless as a bump on a pickle.
3 ★ It's slow with rotation. It doesn't capture movement all the time. It rotates to places that have no movement and stays there. The audio lags. The app is easy to use but like I said it's slow and lags. If it didn't rotate I guess it would be better because there would not be and rotation to lag
2 ★ The app can be slow. Often times, it will take forever to move the cameras, sometimes not at all. The most annoying problem though, is that it will constantly give a "failed" message and refuse to do anything then eventually log me out and force me to log back in. This happens every other day at this point...
2 ★ I can connect to the camera fairly reliably on the way to my destination and while there. But consistently lost the connection on the way home. It's odd and eerie that it seems to never work on my return trip home. If I manage to connect, it drops it after one second and then won't reconnect. I've pretty much given up on it and will switch to another camera brand.
2 ★ Worked decent for some time, and then all of a sudden, the camera stopped responding, some not recording, some unable to see live feed, some unable to rotate, etc. There is now issues with all 4 of my cameras working in different ways. All since 2 days ago. I've restarted them, unplugged them.... no improvement. I know my internet is fine. Fix whatever you changed in your system that make them all stop working properly.
1 ★ Absolutely disappointing! When it works it's great, but that is rare! Constant buffering, losing connectivity, having to reinstall cameras, difficult to impossible to view footage through app, having to reformat SD card routinely. I have outstanding internet with great range. No issue with any other wireless device over wifi. Just these damn cameras. I bought 12 cameras, 3 different models. The clarity is great, but you can't hardly ever see it live or rewatch footage due to buffering.
1 ★ This app keeps glitching out. I have a gaming quality wifi &they have now updated their system to only accept 2.4G WiFi. Absolutely bull. The cameras start to move on their own when no one is controlling them on the app. I wish I could get new service but I'm too poor to afford it. I will be removing this service come tax season. Please note I've had this system since 2021. Started off with just the doorbell, added an outside camera, then added 3 indoor cameras. I have a yearly subscription too.
1 ★ Horrible app.. very unstable and unresponsive. I've been dealing with it for years and they still can't get it right.. the camera seems to be functional, it's just that app is garbage which makes it all worthless.. if there is an alternative app, will somebody please leave the name of it in their review.. fyi, there's absolutely nothing wrong with my internet.
4 ★ The app is good provides a unique way to control remotely a camera so that you can make sure the house is safe when you come home and let you know when there's somebody there shouldn't be! Haven't tried it out on a lot of things like accessing through an Android TV because I've got a somewhat old and antiquated browser available on this Samsung which I'm going to trash probably this year and get a new one that is more robust and more functional.
4 ★ Video quality is better than expected. But when reviewing video it's constantly buffering when on mobile data. On wifi its better but can still buffer more than expected. You can't speed up the watch speed of saved video. The motion alarm is WAY to sensitive. Even on low I get notices about cats walking by and the camera is 10feet up.
2 ★ Got these cameras a few months ago and they worked great, but now one of my cameras don't show anything, no matter what I do. Also, the app loses connection frequently. When the app works, the cameras have very good quality pictures. Also, all the ads that keep popping up when opening the app urging you to upgrade or buy something.
4 ★ The camera and video are great! The constant ads for additional products and services is very annoying. I don't mind seeing ads every once in a while but being bombarded before I can even use the app is very annoying That's something that really needs to change. Also I don't like seeing to get better service rate them at five Stars I don't believe in that I think that's a scam. Overall I'm satisfied it was good value at the time.
1 ★ The camera works just fine, but I notice that whenever you refuse to give it a rating; it disconnects from the network. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! The app itself is annoying and full of self advertisements. Little floating bubbles telling you to spend money or subscribe to something. The app gets a 1, but the physical camera is pretty good.
1 ★ Worst surveillance service in the world. They have basically nuked all functionality unless you pay for their monthly service. Recording to an SD card just doesn't work. It used to, but then they nuked SD card functionality so that you have to pay for the monthly cloud service to even get it to work. Total scam. Even if you do finally get it recording to SD card, they don't let you view the video. When you try to jump to a certain time, it just brings you back to the live feed. Garbage.
5 ★ Best cameras I've had so far. The picture quality is great, I can also see perfectly clear with the night vision as well. I can record, take photos, and it even has very good 2 way talk... all for free. With the free version it only records up to one month. But I use 128GB SD cards in all of mine, so I just store what I need to (or whatever I find the kids doing that I think is cute lol). All in all I give these cameras a 10 out of 10
