To use the Fred Meyer app, you'll need a Fred Meyer digital account. You can register for your account and link your Shopper’s Card through the app. If you don't have a Shopper’s Card, you can create one when you register to access all of these savings and rewards!

1 ★ Case #64521193: This app is about as far from user-friendly as an app can get. I was able to identify items I wanted a coupon for, put them in the shopping cart and in the process of trying to figure out what to do next, lost the coupon. The store staff (Fred Meyer) couldn't figure it out either. This app tries to do too much in one app. Keep it simple! Even my daughter, a Princeton Engineering graduate, threw up her arms in frustration. Simplify, please!
2 ★ App barely functions anymore. Load time is long, randomly signs me out, coupons don't always list details like they used to so using them is a gamble, placing pickup orders is a huge chore, when I'm actually in the store I have to turn location service off or the app won't load anything useful... so many issues, even beyond that. Just a buggy app with an outdated user interface. So much potential to really make the shopping experience great, but this app needs a major overhaul.
1 ★ All I want to do is get my shopping done and have it be accurate. This app is full of dynamic content that slows down my phone takes several seconds to load and pops up random things when I'm trying to select something causing my phone to redirect to a page that I did not want to go to. Edit: have had two confirmed orders not go through this year, why confirm if it's not actually gone through!?
1 ★ Their online system does nothing to prevent the customer from experiencing fraud. My shopper "substituted" the items from my order with a bulk of other groceries, that they KEPT, and charged a 200$ bill to my debit card. It happened back in October 8, it is now early November and the issue has RECENTLY been resolved. I paid with 2 different payment methods, one method I haven't been refunded back for. I ran out of time to use my free delivery trial as a result of this as well. AVOID this app
4 ★ Cost has increased substantially over the last couple of years to where I will go to costco, walmart or target if I can find a better deal on certain items. I like their produce and meat department a lot and the aisles are easy to navigate and no issues with parking. The gas incentives definitely help out a lot as well.
1 ★ App is terrible & inconvenience; it takes forever to load, view ads, and clip coupons. Either I get signed out, or the app has an error & I have to restart it. Fred Meyer has always been my go-to grocery store, but with all the letdown, I started going to Safeway because I don't have any problems with their app
2 ★ New weekly ad view is simply awful. PLEASE do not remove the classic weekly ad view, which although not great, is significantly better than the "new" view, which is just terrible and unusable. EDIT - MORE INFO The "new" weekly ad view does not display all of the items that are in the "classic" view. That's my biggest issue. It's basically just a huge scrolling list. I don't need/want to look through every item in a long list of products. The "classic" view is just much easier to navigate.
4 ★ The app is very convenient for delivery and pickup orders. One major thing I would change is the coupons. You aren't able to tap on a coupon and add it to your account right away. Adding this convenience would help myself and everyone I've talked to that has this app. The going back forth to different parts of the app are a driving force for me to check a different grocers ad on the app first.
3 ★ I rarely leave negative comments...but, I'm super frustrated that weekly Digital coupons are intermingled with Pick Up & Delivery & ALL of the Clip Coupons. Searching for Digitals is not worth my time. Also, many items are unclipped (unbeknownst to me) before I reach self-check . Cashiers use a lot of time undoing the messes digital coupons create. Some voice their frustrations as well. It's not just me.
1 ★ Digital coupons hard to find in app, they ALWAYS out of digital deals when can find, rain checks not available because they put while supplies last. Finally used pick-up order, can't get normal stuff like sliced cheddar cheese unless change to delivery, (which they don't offer in our area.) In ad shows items on sale but when click on, not coming up on sale. We used to get way more there but stopped because app so hard to use. Employees say they have same issues at times & lots of other ppl.
1 ★ Constant login issues. I always get issues when trying to login. I've tried clearing the app cache/data, uninstalled and reinstalled, logged into the website through my browser before opening the app, etc. Occasionally I am able to login, then randomly get logged back out again, sometimes within a few hours. I give up at shopping at Fred Meyers since I can't do online shopping and coupon adding via the app any more. It's not worth the hassle and frustration. 😡
1 ★ Great for looking at ads, but then I try to use digital coupons, and I hate the app. It would be so convenient and time saving if I could tap the sale item in the digital flyer and collect the advertised coupon, but I have to go to a seperate coupon section and try to find it - which can take a lot of time and is very inconvenient.
1 ★ they fix one issue but new issues pop up. My current issue is I'll add something to my list and it will put a third of my list as "aisle may vary" when each individual item when clicked on clearly tells you which aisle it is in. Right now I have shallots and an orange under "aisle may vary". No, it does not. These things are ALWAYS in the produce section. I have to jump around the list when shopping to make sure I didn't miss something. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and tried clearing cache
4 ★ Functions well enough. There are some parts that I find difficult. It is hard for me to start shopping by simply typing a single item into the search menu at a time, and scroll thru a lost that may not even contain my item. Also, when I select an item to check it further. . . the Back button usually starts me all over. I would like photos of isles to inspire my searches. I am a visual person I suppose. I figured out you have only 'til 4pm each day to complete an order for that same day
3 ★ Does the job. $ saving friendly. Not sluggish. Integrate feedback, though more improvement needed. Not intuitive, except cart, reward, coupons. Glitchy--kicks me out a lot when using. Search feature inconsistent w/filtering, & actual application of, options. Cannot find items I know are in the store, no matter search words used. Browse feat over- & under-whelming w/categories; least useful feat of app. No pickup bagging options, an issue since employees literally put only 1 item in a bag.
