3 ★ The app is pretty smooth, but trying to find a new series is annoying as you can only pick one genre. E.g. show all fantasy, or show all romance, but you can't combine them to narrow the list down. So it's easier to search on a different site, and if you want to buy chapters, come back and search titles. I feel like this would be straightforward to fix by improving the filter capabilities.
3 ★ The storys are great but if you wanna read past the first 3 episodes without waiting an entire day then you have to spend money for tokens or points. Good thing you can watch 30 vids an hour for 10 points each vid. If you have 300 points you can get 1 ep. Problem it cuts you off. It always says "videos unavailable" after like 6. 🙄😒
4 ★ Love this app! Only thing I hate is that when you read a story only the first few episodes are free. Then the easiest way to unlock the next episodes is to download certain games and play those games and reach this or that level to gain points. Otherwise, you need to pay with cash for points. I wish the stories are entirely free, and you didn't have to use points to unlock the next episode.
3 ★ Its good 👍 the stories are nice, though not very many, but. When you need to earn points ti read chapters you can watch ads (which are time consuming) or you can download their selected apps. And when you do that its supposed to give you loads of points but that way is rigged and it just bugs me.
1 ★ This is the worst app. First, i watched many ads and received nothing. No points. Second, Each ads that I've watched the next thing will happen is 'video unavailable' and i have to close the app and open AGAIN AND AGAIN. Too much work. Third, even if my internet connection is good, it wil say 'something went wrong. please try again later." So basically, worst app.
1 ★ Love the comics, but it feels like I'm getting throttled by watching the videos too often throughout my day to rack up points so I can read more consistently. I was able to watch the ads with no problem (and terrible service) at the beginning of every day, but at night I just get a Video Unavailable message. 🙃
2 ★ I already started reading two chapters of a story and it was great but what's sad is that you have to either watch videos or pay for the tokens to read the next episode. I get it if this supports the author but its hard trying to justify doing certain things to read rather than being able to just enjoy it.
4 ★ Edit: This app is amazing I really like the stories on it keep up the good work. I just have a little problem while obtaining points, often I don't receive my reward even after 1hr, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again and again. Thank you, and again I really like this app just some bugs of points.
2 ★ I'm reading one story on this app so I might not have the broadest experience. But I am tired of waiting for new chapters, the pay to read system is totally fine although I've paid at least 25 bucks so far for this story and it has 26 chapters by now... You do the math. I'll use up the tokens I've bought and will just go out and buy paperbound manga. Great for getting into manga when you've never read it but to me not à forever situation
3 ★ The app is easy to use. There's great content available. I really enjoy the time til free stories. I also don't mind paying for content but it would be nice to have a subscription option that would allow one to pay monthly vs paying daily. I also would appreciate being able to leave likes and comments on the stories.
2 ★ I used Tappytoon for over a year now and I've to said that, while the content has gotten better, the recently increase in prices is unrealistic. I didn't mind watching 30 ads for a chapter because I read a loot of manhwas and obviously I couldn't pay for all of them, but now, you need 4 tokens/400 points for each one (and they didn't increase the amount of videos you can watch in an hour). So, sorry but I'll be using Tapas from now on.
4 ★ Oh boy, this app is more frustrating than Tapas. Don't get me wrong, despite not having used this for very long (about 30min to an hour) I love it a lot! I mean, I only really read one webcomic but the experience was quite enjoyable! However, the only thing I have a problem with is the watching ads to earn points. Idk if it's because of me or the app but the ads will sometimes not load up and it takes a really long time for them to load. :( Other than that tho, it's great, I reccomend!
4 ★ Absolutely love the comics and the fact you can earn points! But I just got a task completed for a large number of points to unluck chapters(under 2000) yet my points are still about 83-84. So aside from that little oopsie I love the comics I've been able to read! All the artstyles are gorgeous and each story has something different to offer even if some start with the same premise, each author really takes the time to make a comprehensive yet enjoyable story.
4 ★ It works well, doesn't crash regularly like a few others, and has a good selection of Korean manhwa. Can get expensive very quickly though, and could do with some sort of loyalty system for coins.
3 ★ Amazing and good stories, although not all the chapter are free. What I mean by that is the first few would be, but then the rest wouldn't. You would have to get points or buy coins even though it helps the author.
