Heavy metal (or just metal) is a form of rock music. It originated in the late 1960s and early 1970s mostly in england and the united states. Although its roots originate from blues music and psychedelic rock, heavy metal developed a much more heavier, louder and distorted sound with an emphasis on extended guitar solos and more upfront drum beats. Heavy metal lyrics and the presentation of the music are of a much more aggressive nature than that of other forms of rock music.
Rock music is popular genre that first originated as rock and roll in the 1940s and 1950s. By the 1960s, it had developed into a number of different styles. Originally, it was a combination of rhythm & blues and country music, but by the 1960s it had began to incorporate elements from blues, folk and jazz amongst other influences. Rock music is primarily centred around the electric guitar and usually with a backing group of electric bass, drums, vocals and sometimes other instrumentation such as the piano and synthesizers.
Blues musics roots were established in african-american history and it is known for having its own musical form. The use of adapted blues scales, call and response patterns and twelve bar blues chord progressions form a very important part of the genres sound and playing style.
Jazz is a musical art form that originated out of the southern areas of the united states of america in the late 19th and early 20th century. Jazz incorporates african american musical influences with european musics techniques and music theory. Jazz is known for its use of blue notes, syncopation of rhythm and swing, call and response phrasing, polyrhythms and improvisation.
Reggae music is a genre which was formed in jamaica during the 1960s and developed from ska and rocksteady. Reggaes rhythmical style was more syncopated and slower than that of its influences and it placed more emphasis on the off-beat rhythm guitar chord chops which were often found in ska music. Reggaes lyrical content maintained much of its focus on love as like with the lyrics of rocksteady, but during the 1970s some recordings began to focus on more social and religious themes which coincided with the rise of the rastafarian movement.
Punk rock (or punk) is a genre of rock music that was defined in the 1970s in the uk, us and australia. Its roots lie in the raw form of garage rock and it intentionally went against the mainstream rock music of the 1970s. With its own diy ethic to recording and promotion, punk rock was defined by short, fast and raw sounding songs which were often of a political and nihilistic nature.

But i have discovered CRUCIAL VELOCITY RADIO through it ss thats the one i mainly listened to just because of the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas commercials, im a fan of GTA and have now heard commercials that aren't in the game..cant even opn it now gutted
5 ★ I use this app for more than 3 years, it is awesome. Few ads, not to all radio stations. Every radio station is different. Sometimes u can download the track playing.
4 ★ I think it's great . my signal goes in and out when I'm driving but I live in a rural area. Problem is I can only have it on one device. but there are many stations to choose from. And the Blues Kicks A$$

Sounds great, only thing I'd say bad is if you have limited data but listening on wifi at home is fine with me. Great station selection few ads. Recommend to music lovers who just wanna chill and let the music go on or those trying to passively find new music.

5 ★ Wow what can I say about this awesome app. I really dig the default layout but I changed the font to Diablo III which in itself is cool that they added that. Only issue I seen is sometimes it tells me the song I'm listening to and sometimes it doesn't. But wow the variety of streams is awesome. Keep up the good work and thanks for making the app.
5 ★ Just find the type/genre of music you like and you are set to go for hours and hours of non stop songs, from bands, DJs, website/radio stations, etc. You will find a variety of everything such as hard rock, death metal, techno, house, progressive, raves, classical , etc...APP RECOMMENDED TO FRIENDS, FAMILY, ETC. 5 stars for sure...Good job on this app!!!!
3 ★ This app needs work, but has potential. It's disorganized and the interface is.. UGLY and makes my eyes bleed. Edit: ZXSoft, I'm curious as to why the developer (you?) wouldn't desire to make this player any better than its current state? Improvements would definitely increase its popularity. Isn't that the overall intent and goal of developing a streaming music player in the first place? I'm a fellow metalhead, so you do have me interested in using this app.
5 ★ This is so dope!! Amazing app. It might just be my phone but is it normal after picking a station from the list and locking your phone, you won't see the last radio station you left off on . It just starts from the top. Besides that, great work.
1 ★ It is really really really buggy. The only radio stations that don't have interruptions every couple seconds losing signal Etc are the crappy 80s stations that play commercials. I enjoyed it for about eight or nine months with no issues but lately it's almost a waste of time unless you like crappy 80s music with commercials.
