App permissions

Eques 3.09.70 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

3 ★ I had the same problem as reported by 'Er' posted on March,18th 2021. "The alarm notifications DOESN'T pop out or sound when my screen is locked. Only when I turn on the screen then I get alarm notifications from many hours ago altogether. The purpose of a doorbell alarm is to notify the home owner immediately if there's an intrusion; not hours later. How do you resolve this? ..I have set the app to allow notifications, set the door bell alarm to normal non-power saving, to record immediately, and I have added the Eques app to "apps that never sleep" on my Samsung." I found a fix for this by going back to v2.13.35 of this app, all notifications are working as designed. Every release of this app since then have a issue, if you can find the above version of this app, problem solved.

3 ★ Difficult to make it working (first install)

3 ★ PIR notification & vid captures phone all stopped. Pls assist

1 ★ Came here because of notification issues, and saw that many others are having the same thing since late 2020. But no updates from the developer so far. Was told to try V-Doorbell that works with Eques door viewers too. Have not tried it, but nothing to lose at this point.

1 ★ People even in front of the door also never capture any photos🤦‍♂️

3 ★ App doesnt update the video lists that seen previously and exited by pressing home when you view a new notification. Cant share vids even after download. Notifications takes a long time to arrive after the detection and 10sec record. And connection to camera for bell takes about 5secs..by the time you answer the notification for doorbell it'll be a good 10 to 15 secs...
