We hope that this app will provide a fresh and expanded view of life in the japanese countryside of long ago, through the lens of story.
Regarding the use of Japanese words, we wanted the stories to retain some of their exotic flavor, but we have kept the foreign words to a minimum in hopes that the text will be
easy for English speakers to read aloud or retell
