This app intends to help creative writers of any level or genre (short stories, novels, plays, scripts... even poetry) to get unstuck in those awkward moments when the muse seems to be on an absence leave.
The app integrates a series of writing prompts that are deliberately different in their scope; some are straightforward theme suggestions, others hint ideas about the style, structure or tone you can use, and there are even word games you can experiment with. However, what all of them have in common is that they intend to be wide and open enough to allow different interpretation, so different writers can profit from them without having their personal style and artistic preferences compromised. The mission of the app is helping you go back to the writing flow ASAP, without becoming too "pushy" or "paint by numbers" with the suggestions, as it would destroy the "creative" in "creative writing".
Under a premise of simplicity and transparency, the app has been designed in a very unobstrusive way; opening it will take you directly to a prompt, and you get a new one by touching the screen. Also, there are 5 different background images with different textures, which you can also vary by refreshing the screen.
Creative writing is a great exercise for personal expression, even if you only do it as leisure or to exercise your imagination; get rid of that nasty writer's block and go back to writing in no time with these prompts.
