Beschreibung
Die App wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Professor Dr. Erick M. Carreira von der ETH Zürich entworfen und entwickelt und deckt mittlerweile über 1.200 benannte chemische Reaktionen ab. Professor Carreira hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir über alle grundlegenden Reaktionen verfügen, die zum Werkzeugkasten eines jeden Chemikers gehören sollten: von den bekanntesten bis hin zu denen, an die sich nur Nobelpreisträger erinnern!
Die App ist wie ein Satz Lernkarten gestaltet und kann daher sowohl als Lernwerkzeug als auch als Nachschlagewerk verwendet werden. Jede „Karte“ zeigt die Reaktion, ihren Mechanismus und Beispiele aus begutachteter, veröffentlichter Literatur. Es gibt auch einen Quizmodus, mit dem Sie Ihr Wissen testen können.
Durch die Verknüpfung mit Reaxys können Sie die neuesten Beispiele für jede Reaktion finden, viele davon mit experimentellen Details. Reaxys liefert experimentelle Fakten aus der Literatur und ermöglicht es Forschern, die besten Syntheserouten und -bedingungen zu finden. 4 ★ I really like this App. I'm studying Biochemistry and if I have to look up a Namereaction this saves a lot of time and effort. Two things that would be great improvements would by: 1. Offering different languages 2. Turn it off or make it optional that the App goes back to the list if I turn around my Handy
4 ★ Nice App, but i'd like the favorite reaction feature to be added back in, so I'm able to select the reaction i definitely going to need during the Semester. Having all the other ones is nice but in this case to much clutter

5 ★ best app for looking up name reactions (+ mechanisms and journal references for actual utilization of said reaction!) i've encountered so far. highly recommend!! clear and neat design, lots of great features! classifing reactions by group transformation, eg. alkene -> ketone would be a really useful feature to add
4 ★ Great app! All kinds of reactions, even for mass spectrometry, are included. Together with the feature for classification (reaction type, difficulty level) a practical alternative to carrying dozens of books with name reactions. My favourite aspect of this app has to be the literature section where you can read up on practical applications on individual name reactions (even citing the corresponding article/paper!). Downsides for me so far: * Tapping "Suggest a Reaction" causes the app to crash. If the devs read this, I'd appreciate the addition of the Kumada Crosscoupling. * Zooming in on reactions with many steps or big catalytic cycles does not work which makes reading them a real pain at times. * The horizontal/vertical screen feature, while it's a good idea, is way too sensitive and I suggest removing it or at least making it optional. Overall, a great app for all organic chemistry students. Beautiful work, 4/5!
5 ★ I really like the app! However, the time on the quiz ran out and is now stuck at 00:01 - every time I try to start a new one, I get to do just 1 reaction and then time runs out again... Is there a solution to this? Thank you!
