Petfinder is an innovative app that helps find lost pets. Pet owners can input their pet’s information, and these digital “lost-pet-posters” can be viewed by local app users. The community can help out by reporting sightings of strays. They can mark the location with a picture/description, which can be viewed on a map. Pet owners can see where their pet was sighted and search in that area, since animals can travel long distances. With this two-way system between lost-pet reports and sightings, Petfinder effectively reunites pet owners with their beloved best friends. It also includes information about local pet services.
