Vindhyachal Academy, Dewas, was started in 1991 for meeting out quality academic needs of this medium sized and industrial town. The objective set at the time of inception and which remain unchanged as on date, as well is to develop students with inbuilt conviction so that after emerging from the school they should be discerning enough to find out a worthy and suitable slot for themselves in the society. They should also, be able to achieve this.
An endeavour is being made to accomplish this objective through imparting instructions to the students with optimal use of latest education technology, including audio- visual and computer aids, in a serene and conducive environment. The methodology includes making education a part of students’ normal and routine activities like walking, playing, sleeping, eating etc. and not something external imposed upon them. Education thus, becomes a stress-free way of life and it does not require any sugar coated popular paradigm of “Play-way Method of Education”. This helps in developing a healthy and sufficiently serious albeit a pleasant attitude towards education in students. Moreover, school phobia in its customary meaning is sufficiently eliminated in students’ perception.
