SchoolHive is meant to connect and empower college students:
1. We're providing a convenient platform for students to trade textbooks with each other. College textbooks purchased online, or in bookstores are oftentimes more expensive than textbooks sold locally from other students.
2. A new platform that allows students to tutor each other. Other sources of receiving tutoring are very expensive because the platform-provider charges a portion of the fee. Also, those sources usually have professional tutors that are experts in their field of teachings at almost all levels, which also raises the price substantially. We're providing a platform where students can tutor each other, which is more convenient for everyone and cost much less!
3. In-app chat system that not only allows students to connect with textbook buyers/sellers and students/tutors, but also their classmates. Need help with homework? Want to form study groups? Just reach out in class group chats!
