The 77th National Folk Festival is coming to Downtown Greensboro from
September 8-10, 2017, for the second of its three-year residency in
North Carolina. For three, FREE days, celebrate the richness of
American culture and heritage. See over 300 artists, musicians,
dancers, puppeteers, storytellers, and craftspeople, with more than 40
individuals and groups performing on seven outdoor stages. Don't miss
North Carolina craft brews and Southern, ethnic, and festival fare.
The National Folk Festival kicks off Greensboro's sixth annual 17DAYS
Arts and Culture Festival, which runs from October 13-29, 2017.
17DAYS is North Carolina's largest collaborative festival, with more
than 150 events, exhibits, and performances in dozens of venues.
This app is your guide to both festivals. It includes:
-A full listing of all events and performances with descriptions,
bios, photos, and videos
-Directions and GPS map with key locations
-Site map for the National Folk Festival, including food vendors, arts
marketplace vendors, and info on nearby restaurants
-Souvenir cam so you can enhance your festival photos with souvenir
frames and post them
