VMware Workspace ONE UEM introduces a service application for Honeywell devices running Android KitKat (4.4) and higher and enrolled in Android Legacy (Device Administrator) mode. This application is a “plug-in” application that should only be installed and used in combination with enrollment of the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub. It allows for additional MDM capabilities that only pertain to Honeywell devices. This Service includes the following capabilities:
Silent application install
App control policies
APN configuration
MDM persistence with Enterprise Reset
OS upgrades
Date/Time configuration
Certificate management
Various device restrictions

The following devices are not compatible and require an alternate version available on myWorkspaceONE:

• Intermec devices
• CT60 Nougat+
• CT40
• CT80

This service is not supported with Android Enterprise.
