Among GPS Trace Tag peculiarities are:
✔ Compatibility with any Android version;
✔ User-friendly, intuitive interface;
✔ Easy connection to a server: device IMEI and password are only needed;
✔ GPS Tag fully copes with the basic function of conventional GPS tracker ie. submitting data to the tracking system such as device coordinates, speed, route etc.;
✔ Location determination with the help of GPS, Wi-Fi and cell networks navigation system;
✔ Can be easily used to send text messages and images to GPS tracking system;
✔ Two modes are available: permanent mode and mode with time-out. In case of permanent mode coordinates are transmitted continuously, while in the mode with time-out coordinates are transmitted only once within given period of time which reduces battery consumption of the device;
✔ Compatibility with any SIM-card. GPS Trace Tag works even in roaming in case if it is necessary to the owner.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Scheduled start is overridden by "start when charging" so when you are sat at home recharging your device you need to manually stop even if scheduled to be inactive. A let down.

1 ★ Both this and the Original app are a pile of crap, install, open, app stops working. Was hoping to use to track and save some of my private flights for my PPL, I guess I'll be using another.
