App permissions

Bark for Chromebooks 2.0.5 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ FIRST OFF, this is a waste of money because even if there is nothing wrong with the message, it still sends it to my parents alerting them that it was sexual even when I just say," Hey." to a person. It sends every action I do on my chromebook and on my phone and now I just sit there on my bed wondering,"Why is my mom such a KAREN for buying something that watches over my shoulder to say,"SEXUAL CONTENT, DRUG RELATED, and more" when I just got on my phone.

1 ★ My friend ended up killing herself because of this app. Thanks for providing more reasons for us to hate our parents because they can't stop helicopter parenting. Instead of just giving us a crisis hotline actually do something about it. Clearly for all of us talking to our parents hasn't worked at all. All of us just have to live in fear now. What the hell are we supposed to do when no one listens?

4 ★ good app. idk what all the hate is. i can talk to friends privately, but when something bad happens to my chromebook my parents can always ask me what it is, and fix it. overall 4/5 i just dont like being monitored, but that isn't my fault.

1 ★ First off it sent a bark to my mom when i had never typed, texted, emailed, or anything and it said that i had said it. They say that they are not an invasion of privacy yet when ever we talk about netflix or anything they send a bark alert to my parents and show them all my texts. now please tell me how that is not an invasion of privacy. i am so stressed that one day they are going to find something that bark said was there and it really wasn't. kids need to be able to trust their parents.

5 ★ What an amazing tool! The Bark team , Bonnie in particular, has been extremely helpful nd supportive throughout this entire process! Their dedication to protecting children online is admirable. I am so happy to have found them!

1 ★ everytime i try to open an app it constantly asks me to share my screen. I haven't been able to get work done since it has been installed.

1 ★ this app broke my phone and the play store needs to delete this app and I have to write it on this my chrome book because as I said it broke my phone, people should trust their kids and this makes kids feel like everyone doesn't trusts them.
