The Telegraph Live News 8.9.6 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

5 ★ Easy to navigate. Quality articles. In my experience the app has never once crashed. I was looking for an app that would give me easy to access to news around the world and Im very happy with this app.

3 ★ This app still needs lots of work. Comments are invisible on the Android version. The news isn't updated often enough. The app keeps saying the reader is offline when they're not.

3 ★ Good app but missing two keys things that reduce the stars: a search function (I often find it easier to find an article online, save it then refresh my app) and a dark theme. Sort that and it'll be 5 stars from me.

1 ★ I assume support for this app has been withdrawn. As it keeps crashing I have uninstalled it, and now use Telegraph Digital Editions which I prefer. I do think the Telegraph app developers could communicate more effectively if they intend users to migrate though .

2 ★ In many respects, the app has less functionality than simply reading the web page from the phone's browser. For instance, the app doesn't show or allow comments on articles unlike the web page.

2 ★ As with so many other users I keep getting bumped out of articles but at least it hasn't frozen my phone yet (SamsungS7). As an occasional reader of the print edition I feel content of the app is very limited and does not change each day. I'm on a very cheap trial subscription which is the only thing keeping me using the app.

3 ★ Since I have downloaded app it sometimes works and sometimes closes before I can even access it. I have been unable to access for 10 days now not satisfactory when you pay The Telegraph a premium for reading its articles and via an app trying to make life a little easier.

2 ★ Excellent - until a few weeks ago. Since then it keeps reverting back to the Top Stories page whenever a new article is posted there. Trying to read an article more than a few lines long is becoming virtually impossible. Come on Telegraph, at the very least give us an option in the app to switch off this highly annoying "feature".

2 ★ The constant crashing is unbelievably annoying. The app is basically fine when it works. It would be good to be able to pinch to zoom into pictures. The killer is the instability - it gets into cycles of crashing on my moto g6 after about a minute - just enough time to start getting into an article before it disappears. Force restart doesn't always help. Please fix this.

2 ★ It's a shame this app is not exceptional like the telegraph newspaper. Give me a call if you want some help managing your mobile app and fixing these issues. The company I work for would be more than happy to help... This app crashes frequently. It also continuously pops up advising me that my premium subscription is not active and to contact customer services, even though it is and it will still let me browse. Running Android 10 on Pixel 3.

2 ★ In the middle of reading articles the screen flashes white and you are returned to the top of the home page. That is a continual irritation that should be addressed. Source code appearing instead of linked items/pictures is very common now too, really an unpolished app. Telegraph trying to prove it is "old print media"? "None of this modern info-tech here by-jove"! You convinced me Telegraph! LOL.

5 ★ I'm really attracted with your font and jargon. Now I deleted the app 'cause I couldn't read the whole article huhuhhu. Anyway, it's a reallly nice app and the graphics is so cool. It's also easy to manage.

1 ★ Don't Bother! For £2.00 per week (£8+ per month) to subscribe to the Telegraph, I expect to be able to log in and read articles on my laptop as well as my phone. Great services such as Spotify, Netflix and Amazon don't cost much more.The other day it wouldn't even let me read a car review article, not just on my laptop but also on my phone. Subscribed (via PlayStore) and correctly logged in, it just kept defaulting me to setting up a bank subscription. A very poor service indeed, unsubscribed.

1 ★ Changed subscription but not as expected and am told "tough , case closed, your not a vulnerable person". This statement is based on the telegraph knowing nothing about my health, they probably know I am not 70. Thoroughly disgusted and plan to canx subscription. Update today. If I want it too work I must uninstall, open www telegraph and then reinstall the app. But if I close browser, the app stops giving me premium. Rubbish app am cancelling my DD

2 ★ It is not easy to speak with customer service about a subscription issue. If you need to speak to them you have to make an international call or email them and wait days. So if you subscribe your going to be in it for awhile. I don't understand why they can't make the process easier, such as have subscription options with Google Play or the App Store so that international subscribers can have an easier time with subscriptions. Great newspaper other wise.
