Download the latest my energy live application, version 1.6.8, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by British Gas Trading Ltd. and is easy to download and install.

Description
This app connects you to your British Gas smart energy monitor and lets you check your energy use from anywhere, anytime. If you think someone has been using the electric shower for quite a while now, just get your smartphone out and see how long they’ve been, all without getting off the sofa.
You will be able to:
• See how much energy you have used so far today
• See if you’re using more than usual
• See how much electricity has been used in the last hour
• See how much electricity is currently being used
• See your current balance if you’re a Pay As You Go customer
This will help you keep on top of your energy spend. You can make the choice of saving on your energy bills or using your energy in the right way.
This app will only work if you have a British Gas smart energy monitor like the one in the picture. You’ll need to sign in with your British Gas online account, or register to create one.
App permissions

1 ★ load of rubbish this app, its given me nothing but problems won't recognise my fingerprint can't top up gas / electric via app. might be time to consider to change supplier I'm fed up of this now
1 ★ Waste of time. Doesn't work properly and talking to "British" gas is so frustrating I'm uninstalling the app now and just reading the meters myself. Oh if you don't have the latest smart meters. It won't work fully anyway. So what's the point. I tried, but YOU failed BG!
1 ★ So this app basically a shortcut to their website? I see they've removed their old app, the old one that was easy to use and actually worked. We're now left with just the new app which for me just turns my screen white... Still 7 months on!? Could someone please make British Gas an app because they're clearly struggling to make an app of any use.

1 ★ Can't get live data. Says I need Adobe Reader which I have and still can't view anything. Pretty pointless app apart from being able to use it to top up the metres and that can be done at the shop anyway. All in all a pretty useless bit of memory used up on my phone!!!
2 ★ Installed this as usual Brit gas app not work gives whitescreen no remember my details, & when does let me it no recognise my password so have 2 reset all. It not keep topup amounts up 2date, so installed this as couldn't login on Brit gas website either, This app briefly gives white screen, hitting back does then accept password, can topup, but not the app they claim, it just takes me 2 Brit gas website & allows me 2 login. This not keep topups up 2date either. BAD GATEWAY AS OF 24/02/20!

1 ★ I use this app now and show me my balance last month I think need update this app .app name is energy live but never show u how much u have balance today when u check .I give just one star I m not happy with this app I m not recommended for people to upload this app
1 ★ As other people have said this is just a wrapper for the BG website. It even has a link in it which says things are easier in the app
2 ★ Almost useless. Doesn't stay logged in, fails to log in most of the time and most of the site/app is constantly being upgraded. How hard can it be to fix?
1 ★ Identical to the British Gas app and as a prepay meter there is no graphs or usage all i can see is top ups so as far as i know i could be paying more than im using etc... And I'm not switching to a quarterly to pay the same price.
1 ★ Just use chrome, this app is nothing more than a normal web browser with full screen mode (kiosk mode). After getting a few errors about oauth tokens it finally worked, but I'll stick to chrome and firefox.
1 ★ I can't log in, always shows an error
5 ★ Polite and understanding of ones current unfortunate position, showing a healthy amount of patience and courtesy seldom seen nowadays.
