1 ★ After using this app a couple months, I'm fairly certain I won't be renewing. The interface is one of the worst I've ever used. It's clunky to navigate and slow to respond. Also, I setup several NFL teams to be recorded, for some reason it doesn't record the English stations. It will only record the Spanish stations. No settings available to change it. I don't ever watch the Spanish stations because I don't speak Spanish. So I have to go through and individually select every game to record.
3 ★ Fubo as a whole works great, has everything we want/need. All the sports our kids watch etc. HOWEVER, the recent redesign/update on the channel lineup (Guide) is absolutely horrible. The previous version was so much better and easier to use. I agree with so many other reviews here, changes made are not improvements at all. Please switch it back or give us an option for that. I don't want to look for another service but if push comes to shove...
1 ★ The new roku app ui is a huge step backwards. I miss being able to look at the guide while a program is running. Fast-forwarding is harder to do because many times it starts playing at the same spot. The delete a program button was moved down a few menu levels, I liked the right move trash can. Moving through the guide is not intuitive. If you go to the guide, you lose your spot in the program you were watching. The old ui was easy to use and very intuitive.
1 ★ The worst update ever! It starts up on the main page instead of the last channel viewed. Goes back to the main menu/home page. It takes more navigation for what used to be a one button press. When viewing guide background audio for what channel you were on is now gone. You now have to pick a profile with every single start up of the app. I want to turn my tv on and fubotv is on the last viewed channel right away. I agree with others. Every change has been awful!!!
1 ★ The only reason I keep the app on my phone is so I can watch local sports. Sadly there is waaaay to much buffering no matter what internet I use so it's actually kinda pointless. The new update/layout is beyond aweful on Roku/android! Only good thing is the picture on the guide. Seems like we lost A LOT though... like the option to go back between shows, listen to one show while searching through the guide, and some options on recordings. PLEASE put it back to how it previously was!!!!!
2 ★ This is a review of the new (10/23) release of Fubo for Roku. In two words, it sucks. Overall it seems it The UI in "My Stuff" has renamed one section to "Watchlist," and eliminated one segment completely. The new fast forward is great in concept but is horrible in execution. It's too buggy. One time it blew me out of the app completely. Sometimes you FF and when you hit 'Play' it goes back to where you started the FF from. It's more granular, which is good, but it doesn't work properly.
1 ★ The new app for Android TV is horrible. The layout makes it harder and longer to navigate. Total garbage now, fix it! - Long press back button doesn't recall last watched channel, just exits the app - when watching a channel and click down to bring up channels, the list starts from the beginning instead of the channel your watching - the feedback feature is gone - no clock anywhere - removed the start and stop times of shows so you don't have any time reference, garbage!
1 ★ This is about the Roku interface. The new interface is bad enough to make me want to look elsewhere. It used to tell you which sport was being played (crucial now when colleges are playing Football, Volleyball, men's and women's basketball) but not anymore. It used to tell you on the screen when an event was scheduled but not anymore. It is harder to use, less intuitive and a step back in almost all ways.
2 ★ The new update in October 2023 really stinks. The fast forward goes really slow and the arrow at the top of the remote control doesn't work that good when you're watching a recording . When you are watching a recording show before you could hit the arrow at the top on left and scroll through different things and programs and still watch your show but now you can't see none of that stuff when you are watching a show when you hit that Arrow at the top on the left. Fanview is not working on sports.
1 ★ Doesn't live up to the standard you would expect for the price. Despite excellent connectivity voices often not matched with video. The interface is clunky. When you open the guide it takes you to the first channel every single time and you have to scroll down every single time it doesn't just open to the channel you're on. Pretty subpar performance across my devices. Skips, stops, freezes especially on live sports. Can't watch on plane with streaming Internet due to requiring location
1 ★ Used to be great...I told everyone I knew that had cable to get Fubo instead. I probably brought them 10 subscriptions. Then they updated and made so many stupid changes. It was close to perfect and now it's a disaster. Worst of all after 4 weeks of not working on any fire stick they refused to refund me. Terrible app, terribe customer service. I switched to YouTubeTV and it was cheaper and works on all my devices.
1 ★ Worst app update I've ever experienced. They ruined the experience on Roku to the point where I'm researching other options. If I can't roll back the app version I don't think it's worth keeping. Why be annoyed every time you have to start the app or change channels? You can't even see what's on next on the channel you're watching. Who takes a feature like that away? Awful update, please give users a way to roll back this update.
3 ★ Glitchy, but has everything I want. Doesn't work with some devices, especially TVs, will often freeze controls. It's expensive for the sports available, not the quality of the app. Update: tried reinstalling, no changes. On certain tablets app will not open in landscape mode. App freezes on the first screen. Must be restarted completely and operated in portrait mode until getting to desired stream/recording
3 ★ I don't like the newest update. You can't continue watch what was playing while looking for another channel. Also you used to be able to watch the whole series with adds even if it wasn't recorded. Now you don't have that option. I do like that itnis easier to jump into the menu faster but it also starts you on the menu to start with so you can't leave where you left off from.
1 ★ If I could give a lower score I would, the app is very slow and the schedule is next to impossible to use. Trying to find something slightly not in the mainstream doesn't work. The only reason I use it is because I'm forced to by local blackouts of local sports. The video quality is potato quality and takes an eternity to load when you rewind just a little. Cannot recommend unless you are forced to like me. If you do you'll be wishing you hadn't. YouTube TV is far superior, or use cable or dish
