The complete Cebuano Bible was first published in 1917.
The 'Bugna' version contains the original New Testament from 1917, and the name “Bugna” comes from the name given to the book of Revelation.
The New Testament of the Bugna Version is based on the Textus Receptus, the same used as a base of the renowned English Version King James. There is a certain degree of similarity between the texts, and because of this, it has been named The Cebuano King James Version.
