Description

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measurement which compares a person's weight and height. Although the resulting value of the formula BMI rather than as a benchmark the amount of fat in the body, but the value of BMI can be used as an estimate whether a person has a body that is ideal from a comparison of height and weight.

BMI formula is used worldwide as a diagnostic tool to determine the weight problem as too thin, thin, normal, or obese. Grouping results and BMI has become the standard set by the WHO. In Asia different BMI values apply to the value of BMI in Western countries.
