The Center aims to conduct studies and in-depth analyzes, through which new ideas are presented that help solve political, security and social issues at the local and national levels.
The Center was established on December 12, 2012 in Kamishloo, and carried out several important strategic projects, including: - Participation in the drafting of the social contract. - Population census to boycott the island in 2014. - Study on the economic and commercial situation in the territory of the island. - A comprehensive study on the history of the Kurdish political movement in Syria. - Study on the phenomenon of internal and external migration in northern Syria. - Study on defense system in Rouge-Ava, northern Syria. - Historical and Demographic Study of Al-Shahba Areas. - Conducting the general population census in Rouge-Ava (northern Syria) in its three regions (Al-Jazeera-Kobany-Afrin) in 2016. - Participating in laying the foundations of the administrative divisions of the democratic federation of northern Syria. - Draw a geographical map of the territory of the island and northern Syria. Mechanism of Action The Center shall establish workshops and committees to follow up the political, military and social events and developments in order to identify the problems, obstacles and threats through conducting studies and research related to them, as well as periodic questionnaires and public opinion polls, and then analyze them in depth and draw conclusions. New and future visions that will contribute to policy-making and decision-making at the local and national levels. The Center also holds seminars, dialogues and lectures, educational, political and social, with the aim of contributing to the social and political awareness of society and the dissemination of democratic awareness. The Center publishes its most important publications through a quarterly periodical journal called Kurdish Studies
