Download the latest LIRR TrainTime application, version 5.7.13, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Maps & Navigation app is developed by MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 5.7.13, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
• Trip Planner: Check train schedules, including all official connections, and how full a train usually is
• Realtime Train Tracking (updated every 2 seconds!): See exactly where each train in your trip is, view when it will arrive, and follow it throughout your trip
• Realtime Train Crowding: See how full each car is and where you should stand on the platform to have the best chance at finding a seat
• Train Length and Platform Layout: See how many cars your train has today, where it will stop, which cars will open at your destination, and where to board for an accessible trip
• Chat: Text with a customer service representative within the app
• Notifications: Track assignments at major terminals, track changes systemwide, and canceled or held trains
• Bookmarks: Save and quickly access favorite trips and stations
• Share: Send your trip details to friends & family
• Nearby trains: Quickly see the status of the train you are riding
• Stations: View upcoming departures, ticket office hours, as well as escalator and elevator status
• Ticketing: One tap access to view or purchase new tickets via MTA eTix

4 ★ I'm no longer in the New York metro area I like the fact that tells you how many cars seats are taken percentage wise not always accurate but at least as an option

2 ★ Really annoying that it's not integrated with MTA etix (which only brings up Metro-North train time...why are these all separate apps??). Also annoying that it won't show all the trains for a particular day; you have to keep tweaking the time just to see what's available.
4 ★ Whoa! A new design! It's definitely more modern looking and easier to navigate. Hopefully I'll have more feedback when I'm taking the train again. Minor feedback from last version and hopefully doesn't happen with the new one. I always had to set my favorite stations every time the app updated. Quite annoying when I have 6 favorite stations.
1 ★ The information provided in this app is unreliable and often times incorrect. It will tell you the train departed when in actuality the train hasn't arrived. It will tell you the train is on time when in fact the train is running behind schedule. So frustrating!!
2 ★ This app too often does not accept location address so you can't find out how to get to a specific location. The app have to be more user friendly to make it easier to enter new locations. The app location database is too limited.
3 ★ Maybe when it's complete it will be better; for now, it would be real nice if it could indicate the platform the train is expected on, if not in Penn station, at least the island stations. Of course, I'd be perfectly content with a station schedule in PDF form like they used to have...
2 ★ The app does not update the Track to go to, regardless if you enter the LIRR Staton at Atlantic Terminal or Jamaica. I stood and even entered the train, which I found by luck, and the app still read "To Be Announced". The old app was better, without the additional features. Please fixed this ASAP. Where is the Update Button? This is an extremely important feature you left off. What is the Email address to send screenshot? I assure you I'm within the 10 minute window on or in front of the..
3 ★ App was good but it hasn't been updated in almost a year and the ARRIVAL COUNTDOWN section has been stuck on the same page forever and can not change it to any other station countdown. The times/track arrival countdown info for Penn Station is covering all the other stations and can not change it. Please fix!
1 ★ Horrible experience, was not informed that you should not activate the ticket until you get on the train...so guess what, the ticket expires. And I had to use the return trip for my first trip... Then, the LIRR customer service can give you NO help...you have to buy another ticket... Don't use the app its not worth the hassle.
