Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

1 ★ It is absolutely incredible how biased the content of nu.nl has become. Also, comments are often deleted or highlighted based on the opinion of the moderators. This is starting to smell a lot like censorship. It would do nu.nl well if they started focusing on delivering objective information instead of contaminating all information that reaches the masses. They even go as far as blocking people from liking comments or flagging comments!

2 ★ Nice enough app, ruined by giant ads in the middle of the article. Sanoma does far too much tracking, without an option to opt out, hence I'm uninstalling this app and will boycott all Sanoma apps and services. EDIT: ads provide revenue, I get that. Tracking, however, is not acceptable without an opt-out. I've read Sanoma's policy, and it's not acceptable. Try reading De Stentor, for example: access without accepting all cookies is impossible, and that's in breach of EU GDPR. So, no Sanoma for me

1 ★ Only craps is shown Old version not running and the new only shows adds which makes it crash or frees the device So block the use and the app from the store

2 ★ Good app, but highly selective in what suits their narrative. They follow the news, they are not leading in investigative journalism. You can comment on articles, but they will only display it when it suits their opinion. Opinions that suit their narrative will be highlighted and stay on top

1 ★ Since the last update the app freezes on the startup screen.. It's been going downhill for some time now.. Wouldn't recommend! In a few weeks, awsome... Luckily you guys also have a fully functional website.. Oh wait mean commercials with some news, mostly sponsored content inbetween. Hooorraaaay... Dot Dot Dot

3 ★ Since yesterday, I get again the spam of "important announcements" which I deliberately turned of in the apps settings (still is turned off). Probably need to either surpress them within Android or remove the app and us the website. Unfortunately this shows that the app is not properly tested prior to updates.

2 ★ Messages too easily banned. Some articles much too extensive. Ads take much too long no possibility to close it. The whole ad will run again when u want to reread an article. Usually i cancel if i see the ad running again. Youtube does it alot better concerning ads.

1 ★ Will delete app, it doesn't respond well and when I want to click an article a add pops up just where the link is and will send me to the responding website trash.

3 ★ unfortunately I had to delete this app as I kept getting push notifications with ads. I dont mind ads when I read stuff but that was really a step too far. I just bookmarked the site on my phone and no push notifications anymore.

2 ★ Every update (that you're forced to do) includes more and more advertisements. I get that you have to show adds in order to get paid. However, if there are more adds than relevant news you're clearly not on the right track...

1 ★ 1) To little respect for privacy. 2) The app becomes more and more 1 big advertising app instead of a news app. I have to search for news between the advertisements.

1 ★ Why doesn't the autorotate work anymore????? Now I have to read from tablet in portrait mode (was landscape mode) So it seems you guys forgot the testing. Sukkels van Nu. nl. HaHa

1 ★ My review was removed, next to censoring people you are biased and prejudiced. You don't care about people's privacy, and grammar is a problem as well, gee the amount of mistakes. Even in a browser your website is so incredibly slow.

1 ★ When I have notifications turned off in the settings it means I do not want to receive notifications about news. So don't force push COVID-19 related news notifications regardless of the notification settings that a user has set.
