Description
nanoTweeter uses the standard Android notification system to tell you when you have new @replies or direct messages, and can optionally also notify you about all tweets from all your friends (or just a selection of them).
nanoTweeter works well as a complement to http://mobile.twitter.com/
App permissions
nanoTweeter 1.0.4 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows access to the vibrator.

2 ★ Very nice idea; I love the minimalism. However, with the volume of tweets that I get, this interface makes the notification pane unusable. Pity.
3 ★ I was happy with this until i found Twitride. Twits in the notification bar aren't as convenient as i thought they'd be, but good replacement for SMS!
