American Family Radio is a listener supported broadcast ministry of the American Family Association. AFR exists to be a voice for AFA to help motivate and equip individuals to restore American culture to its moral foundations. AFR does this in a variety of ways with both its music/teaching format as well as its Christian Conservative Talk format. AFR is not xenophobic as we are a platform for other ministry partners such as James Dobson's Family Talk, Tony Perkins and Washington Watch or David Jeremiah's Turning Point.
AFR understands that politics and polices alone will not change America. It will take an intervention of Christ and our hearts turned back to Him. AFR hopes to educate our listeners with news and issues of the day but more importantly convey the Truth of Christ through clear presentations of the Gospel.

5 ★ Excellent Christian radio station for news and for music. I really enjoy the options of listening to either talk shows, or music, or having a combination of them both.
4 ★ I enjoy the content of the app so much but I struggle with the app itself. Maybe it's because you have an Android phone. I have reinstalled the app several times and I often restart my phone.
5 ★ Content for news is excellent. Its the only source I trust. Earlier versions of App crashed on me often, but have not had a problem with my recent versions.
5 ★ A great way to keep up with the shows you love if you aren't in your car or near a radio. I have alarms set on my phone to remind me when my favorite shows are on in my time zone :)
5 ★ Very, very good! Love the option for all music. Would be nice to hear a few more Bible programs and a few less political / current event programs.
4 ★ As far as content, this app is second to none! But the reason I gave four stars instead of five is b/c there r some bugs with the app that need to get worked out
1 ★ This app has a very hard time playing with the screen off. It will play from 30 seconds to 3 minutes after I turn off the screen on my android phone. I have had this app on at least 2 different phones with the same results. The programs are great, but when I am intently listening to something, it always seems to shut off just as it gets to the "good part". This gets VERY aggravating...and I am normally a calm, patient person.
2 ★ The app is great for keeping up with your favorite AFR shows. However, the constant crashes make the app nearly unusable. Here's to hoping that is fixed in the near future.
1 ★ It has always been useless. I installed it years ago to listen to Brian Fischer (I hope I haven't misspelled his name too badly), but it sometimes wouldn't open. I eventually uninstalled it. A long time afterwards I reinstalled it to see if it had gotten any better, but it hadn't. I wanted to listen to Brian live again, but it would just play briefly and then start buffering for a long time and then shut off and go to my home screen.
1 ★ I just installed this app and I haven't been able to use it because it's freezing up right away it doesn't leave an icon on my phone either I have to go back to the Play Store and pull it up that way do. you have some work to do on this.
5 ★ Great app! I enjoy being able to quickly access AFR Talk programs and AFR Music streaming in one convenient app. Thank you AFR for the awesome ministry work that you do!
4 ★ Overall I like it b/c I can listen to shows at my convenience. But I have to issues, one may not be an issue, I just might not know how to do it. It would be great if I could share individual pod cast via email, text or social media and I don't see that as an option. You can share the app, but there are many times I want to share something specific and I don't think I can. The app also, occasionally, freezes up, requiring you to completely close and relaunch. Fix those & I'd give it 5 stars.

5 ★ I love this!! Being able to listen when I cant then going back to listen to what I missed!
5 ★ The programming is excellent, including a variety of hosts with top guests for each topic being presented. The thing I enjoy most is the common goal of the American Family Association in all its affiliates: to share the love of Jesus Christ through the Gospel's Plan of Salvation and Biblical Discipleship throughout the world!
