Swell provides a new storytelling prompt every day to inspire you to share a story from your life. No experience is necessary, simply use the built in recorder in the app and record and post a 5 minute story.

Swell makes it easy to share your stories online. Simply share the link to your Swellcast and anyone can listen to it on the web, they do not need to download the Swell app to listen.
For listeners, Swell provides an opportunity to listen to interesting stories from all over the world and tune into interesting people.
The newly launched Swell Audio Creator Program allows you to monetize your audio content. Members of the program can charge a monthly subscription fee for access to their premium audio content. FEATURES
Each audio post in your Swellcast is up to 5 minutes long (15 min for Premium Swellcasts) and can easily be created by simply using the Swell app. No microphones, fancy desktop software or recording studios are needed. Record and post anytime and from anywhere. And if you need more time, you can extend your post by adding replies to it in 5 minute increments.
ADD PHOTOS, LINKS AND HASHTAGS

Swell has launched a first of its kind creator program exclusively for audio creators using the Swell app. You can apply to the program in the app or on the Swell website, and if accepted, you will be able to offer paid subscriptions to your premium content.
As part of the program, you will get access to additional features such as longer Swells (record up to 15 minutes, or upload up to 1 hour long), scheduled posts, the Premium Hub with tips and HowTo videos, and optional marketing and promotions support.

5 ★ This is really fun. It's something different from other applications and definitely it's a very good way to connect with each other. You must try this application to connect with your friends and family. I personally enjoyed using this app.

3 ★ The latest update is not that great. I preferred when I could choose to play Swells that interested me rather than it automatically playing every Swell on the homepage. It would also be nice if we could see who liked/reacted to a swell - that'll make it easier to find and follow people who have similar interests.
5 ★ The best way to truly connect with the world
5 ★ A suggestion I have is to allow me to personalize my app experience through allowing me to change the color scheme. Also, personal swells that don't have to be about starting a conversation - on your personal page. Maybe a limit of 2 or something. Just to share a thought purely for sake of sharing it. The color scheme as it is makes everything feel unexciting and dull. Still getting 5 stars because I love the concept and I'd like to see more people join the app and for things to further develop.
5 ★ Wow. I love that days after I join I see the app update has the addition of user-requested features, such as speedier playback (1.5x or 2x speed). I liked the suggesrion when I first heard it in the app and I especially like that the devs are not only attentive to feedback but responsive in acting on it. The whole premise for Swell is unique. I predict if the team stays open to change in the UI, while standing by their core mission, it will be more and more successful. Kudos.
4 ★ I found the whole system very interesting. I understand the need for a human voice in conversation these days especially for those in isolation because of the pandemic. This app is on to something different. It still need some work and had a little trouble how to navigate the system and figure out when someone was speaking to me directly but Im sure I would have gotten the hang of it after a week's use of the system. I may come back to it after it's been around a while.
1 ★ Topics were not interesting to me. They were also worded in a manner that was supposed to be clever but just made it confusing and difficult to determine what the actual subject or topic of discussion was. Someone trying way to hard. A few cute and clever word puns here and there would have been fine, not every single one.
5 ★ Great App to use!
1 ★ Impossible to delete account, very small user base. Their's a good idea somewhere in here. The problem is you have maybe 10 very active users, who create the bulk of the content, and maybe another 20 who post once or twice. Not really enough to keep me interested. Normally I wouldn't post a negative review for that. But then when I tired to delete my account ( you need to sign up to see what the app does) I was unable to. I'm guessing this is deliberate so they can claim to have more users.

This platform truly transcends technology and meets the standards of becoming one with the Singularity. Geeky and heady...look just try it and you'll get it. It's unlike ANYTHING you have ever experienced with tech and social interactions.
