App permissions

Telnet 1.0.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

5 ★ Works great! Seriously people who dont know how to use this, dont comment 1 star. If u get error just reboot and type telnetd and enter and do this

4 ★ To all idiots this is used to root your phone. Dont rate bad if you don't know what it does. Jeez.

1 ★ Would not recognize an ubuntu Linux telnetd server. Came up garbled. Other programs worked better.

2 ★ it was working perfectly and then outta nowhere it says connection refused because of null value from the server. it might be a problem on their side

3 ★ Got me root. You dont need this to get root you can telnet from a pc. I would like to see a more fully featured telnet client and/or a mud client

5 ★ Wouldn't Have been able to root my g1 without it. Super cool. Connectbot would've worked too though.

3 ★ Works good, but can't save recently used client ip address! Have to punch it in everytime. Otherwise would give 5 star

2 ★ Tried to perform a http request, I receive data but the screen goes away and I'm told connection reset by peer. Why can't I at least see what I got?
