Description
Downloading the manual for your camera lets you access the instructions at any time, on line or off.
■Downloading Manuals
Manuals can only be downloaded online. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended for downloads over 10 MB. Depending on network conditions, download may take over 10 minutes.
■Using the Viewer
Tapping a manual in the library launches the viewer.
Links are indicated by colored text: tapping a colored word or number takes you to the linked page.
*Android 4.0 or later recommended.

Manual Viewer 2 2.2.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

1 ★ Useless app Nikon substituted for a real manual. App will not even show manual for my common S7000 Coolpix. I totally agree with other reviewers who said Nikon may make a good camera, but knows nothing about apps, or customer satisfaction. Or doesn't care...
1 ★ Honestly did not get to read a single sentence before experiencing at least 4 crashes. Completely and totally useless.
1 ★ What has happened to Nikon? Are they aware that we now all have computers? I purchased a D5600 last year and yet they cannot be bothered to make the manual of that current camera available in this app. Nor have they the courtesy to inform me on this site so I waste my time downloading the app for no reason. And look how very low the rating is for this app. Yet it scales lofty heights compared to the dreadful score of their Snapbridge app. I have been loyal to Nikon since the early 70s but the whole experience of my latest purchase has been tarnished by their bad software and sloppy attitude. Seriously considering other manufacturers.
5 ★ Brilliant app, I was able to download & view the manual for the D850 as soon as the camera was first available. The speed of downloading is very good also. I am the Chair of Castleford Camera Club & I advise every Nikon user to have this app, better to have a manual on a phone as it will almost always be with you.
3 ★ Works OK but is rather limited. There is no search facility and I can find no way to download manuals for lenses.
2 ★ It's a good app and very helping us to understand more about the device, BUT this app always close directly after I turn the pages. Please fix it, thank you
5 ★ The D500 Manual is now included, along with several extra settings and tip guides. It would be great if more lenses were included, especially the DX line that I'm told is intended for us non-professionals who, I assume, would need this app more than the pros. All-in-all, though, a great app for me so far. Thank you!
5 ★ This is the greatest idea ever! What a boon! Wonderful, Nikon! Is there any chance of getting at least some of the upper-end Coolpix cameras up there? (The B700/A900 and similar)? Also, accessories such as the remote timers etc. would be great...otherwise, FANTASTIC app!
1 ★ No D500 manual. The new D500 manual and menu guide have been available in PDF for awhile when they should have been here first ... irritating that I cannot get them on my phone or tablet. Left hand - right hand communication problem?
2 ★ Might be ok if you can't deal with downloading files and don't have an application that can display pdfs. The manuals are available on the Nikon web site. Serious cons: No way to read manuals you've already downloaded. The app doesn't tell you where it stores manuals. Pros: Seems to work.
3 ★ Its nice to have such manuals while on the move or waiting, but it takes way too much effort to flip the pages compared with the rest of android and any other app. Please reduce the length of swipe required.
1 ★ Any time I attempt to click to see a page, the doc for the D750 abends. Reported issues multiple times. Almost entirely useless as it currently exists.
3 ★ Everytime I switch to another app it crashes. Also the viewer should keep a record on which page I am currently reading and reopen from that page onwards

1 ★ Galaxy note 2, app crashes anytime I scroll or select anything from table of contents page.
