Download the latest OpeNoise application, version 3.2.3, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Arpa Piemonte and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 3.2.3, 3.2.2, 3.1.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.

TERM OF USE
This app is not intended for professional use, it does not necessarily guarantee an accurate noise measurement.
Since each device has a different response to noise, a comparison with a professional noise level meter in the measurement dynamic range is required.
The utilization of the app requires adequate technical knowledge and skill; an extemporary measurement might not be correct.
The calibrations and measurements sent to the OpeNoise community will be used for statistical purposes only and cannot be used in any way to verify compliance with legal limits.

5 ★ Probably the best noise and ambient sound measuring app I've ever used that didn't cost me $80.
5 ★ May god bestow you with silence of nature every morning of your life, for making such useful app to track noise.
5 ★ This app is brilliant, the best by far! It is the only one I have found that can display dB(A) and not just dB(Z). The wide choice of display options is greatly appreciated. I see a lot of people leaving negative reviews on here complaining about the need for calibration, ALL APPS NEED CALIBRATION if they claim otherwise, they are lying! My only wish is to be able to create custom LAeq times as seeing 3, 5, or 15min averages is very valuable! If you need a sound level app, this is it. 5 starts!
2 ★ In order to calibrate the app you need a professional sound meter. While I love that this app doesn't sell to third parties, this made the app useless for me. I got this app to be able to measure the white noise during my baby's nap times to avoid hearing damage. This just isn't the app I needed for my intended purpose.
5 ★ All the functionality I need expertly made and clearly instructed - and it's FOSS. I would have settled for open source with a courtesy fee. Thank you very much!
