Description

The SELF, a federated e-Learning system of the Emilia-Romagna Region is the organizational structure that the Region has adopted for the dissemination of e-learning in its training practices and in those of public bodies in the Emilia-Romagna area. The authorities and public administrations of Emilia-Romagna wishing to make use of SELF stipulate a non-burdensome agreement and become part of the Local Training Units network (UFL), which gathers the Region and the Regional Agencies, local authorities, health agencies, schools and other types of public organizations.
SELF affiliated organizations offer free technologies, services, educational resources and skills for the design and management of e-learning courses. SELF makes available to the member agencies, management and support services, an online platform and a mobile version aligned to the functionality of the desktop (access to its training path, use of content and tracking activities).
SELF is managed by a Regional Service Center which also takes care of training courses for trainers, the organization of events and initiatives, coordination and animation of the UFL network and communities.
