App permissions

The Minstrels 2.3.3 APK requires following permissions:

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

1 ★ After paying to get Frank Edwards latest album the app crashes anyhow you will be playing a song and it stops all of a sudden. Playlist not working. Instead of downloading music for free I decided to do things the right way and the app is not working.

1 ★ You guys aren't being fair. I could have bought a pirated cd for N250 instead O xame on here to contribute to talent and buy legally for 1000 now i can't have it on my laptop or phone except I'm on the app!! Internet, battery life, so it cost me much more buying from you. Lesson learned! It sincerely isn't fair, you aren't considering people.

2 ★ I'm very unhappy with this app. No way to know which song is playing on the playlist, no control to rewind, fastforward or repeat - just play, pause and stop. Then most unacceptable is that it continues to play when a call comes through on your phone and you answer... no way to turn it off then! Also, the purchased songs only save on the app, no way to play outside the app or even know the size of a song! This app has not been useful to me in any way, yet.

3 ★ I appreciate the thought put into this. But once music is bought, there is no way to get it out of the app. You have to play and enjoy it on the app. Also I keep getting messages lately. The app icon shows I have unread messages, but there is no way to view the messages. It just stays there staring me in the face.

4 ★ Ermmm it's good but I think when you sign up you should be able to setup your profile and be part of the minstrels too

1 ★ I don't know about the iOS version of this app but for android, this was poorly developed. The app is quite slow on my phone and the app music player is not user friendly at all. I think the design has to be reviewed and updated.

5 ★ Wow!, this is great! But I have one problem, I want to create an account but it is not creating. Can't wait to listen to minister Bukola Bekes, Nathaniel Bassey and Glowreeyah Braimah...
