Download the latest Postinfo application, version 3.4.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Communication app is developed by Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology and is easy to download and install.

Description
Postinfo, the citizen centric android Mobile application of Department of Posts developed by Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology .The app provides the following facilities;
1) Tracking
2) Post office search
3) Postage Calculator
4) Insurance premium calculator
5) Interest calculator
Brief description of each facility is given below;
TRACKING:
The tracking facility is made available on this mobile app for the following types of mail items.
• Speed Post • Registered Letter • Insured Letter
• Value Payable Letter • Insured Value Payable Letter • Registered Packets
• Registered Periodicals • Registered Parcel • Insured Parcel
• Value Payable Parcel • Insured Value Payable Parcel • Business Parcel
• Business Parcel COD • Express Parcel • Express Parcel COD
• Electronic Money Order (e-MO)
The users can view the status of the above mentioned type of articles by entering the articles number and touching the Track button. The following additional facilities are also available.
• Save the results for future reference
• Share it with others through Android native sharing apps viz. Bluetooth, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.
POST OFFICE SEARCH:
By entering first three character of the name of the Post office or by entering the Pin code of the office the users can get a list of matching Post offices. By clicking again on the row the user gets the details like Name of Post office, Street address (location), contact details of the Post office (where ever available) for the selected Post office. The name of the Division and contact details.
Offline Pincode search has feature to find nearest post office, locating post office on Google Map and Making call to Post office
POSTAGE CALCULATOR:
The app will calculate the Postage (tariff) based on the weight entered by the user for the following items..
• Ordinary letter • Speed post Domestic *
• Registered letter • Ordinary Parcel
• Registered Parcel • Registered book packet
• Registered book packet containing Printed books • Ordinary Registered book packet
• Ordinary book packet containing Printed books • Book packet containing periodicals
• Book packet containing Registered News papers
• *Domestic Speed Post Tariff depends on distance between place of origin and destination.
• Based on tariff there are 5 slabs of tariff viz. local, up to 200 KM, 201 to 1000 KM, and 1001 to 2000KM and above 2000KM. The calculator shows the tariff for all categories)
PREMIUM CALCULATOR
The Department is offering various types of Life Insurance Policies through Postal Life Insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance. The users can check the premium payable for all the eligible types of Postal /Rural Postal Life insurance Policies on the basis of the input entered.
INTEREST CALCULATOR
Post office is offering different types of Small Savings Schemes as mentioned below:
• Sukanya Samriddhi yojaana • Recurring Deposit
• Time Deposit (1 year, 2 year, 3 year and 5 year) • Monthly Income Scheme
• Senior Citizen Savings Scheme • National Savings Certificate
• Kisan Vikas Patra

1 ★ The new design is so clunky! 😖 The app design team needs to move forward with design language, not backward. Sad. Even the app load time is pathetic. Similarly, the new UI makes viewable screen estate inefficient.
1 ★ Please provide offline pincode search and postage calculator in this version. Earlier it was there now removed. Please fix the issue. Now its very difficult to find pincodes and postage price without internet connection.
1 ★ 1. No history is kept for tracking shipment 2. Just a web page for trcaking. 3. Only a name of app, better you can use a website, why to install if it is alao opening the web pages.
1 ★ This update has so many constraints like age calculation for RPLI/PLI as we have to calculate it manually another is not showing total contribution for SSY/PPF and showing it on annual basis. Please atleast add self age calculator for RPLI/PLI as it will ease the task for customer/agents who want to buy/sell policies.
1 ★ Automatic age calculator option was easy to use. New update is not good, bring back age calculator option where one has to submit their DOB to get policy premium without making mistake

1 ★ This site can’t be reachedpli.indiapost.gov.in took too long to respond. Try: Checking the connection ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT While clicking on customer login, its says so... Please rectify it.
1 ★ I don't understand why u people removed age calculator from PLI premium calculator. Age is very very important to calculate running age. If age is wrong everything will go wrong. Pls bring back age calculator. Without age calculator it's very difficult.
3 ★ The new update is alright. But kindly bring back the calender option for hassle free premium calculation for new proposals.
1 ★ In Previous Version there is an option to share PLI & RPLI Premium Details as pdf. Now in this latest update no option to share please fix this as early as possible
1 ★ Previous version is better than present updated version in Pli premium calculator.( In previous version It will select age autometically and pdf also available. )
1 ★ Postage calculation is very difficult to calculate and in PLI Calculation there is children policy calculation details. I request kindly update in new versions with correct informAtion.
2 ★ After new version there is no option to choose exact date of birth in insurance sections...previous version was good
5 ★ Old version was best..in new version, calender is omitted in pli/rpli premium calculation. Please add calender for date of birth calculation. Otherwise app is worest
