Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

5 ★ Awesome idea! Know that the books are 1) read by amateurs (volunteers like you or me) and 2) the books read are over 70 years old and in the public domain, and lastly 3) though all of the books I've been through so far have been supplied by Librivox, I can't find ALL of the offerings contained in Librivox.

5 ★ Excellent motivation to finally read those classics I kept postponing. Until an OS upgrade broke it beyond repair. I will miss it.

5 ★ By far, the best reader/book app out there. I mean, getting paid to read is amazing; nevermind the full scope of all that Project Guttenberg has to offer. Absolutely enjoy it and highly recommend it.

2 ★ Want to love the app. Love the idea. But the app is garbage. Freezes on load screen over and over. I have to force close it 5+ times or restart my phone.

5 ★ If you're hoping to earn enough to get gift cards quickly, this isn't the app for you. But if you're a reader, like me, this is a wonderful app full of classics and new indie books, and you will eventually earn enough to get the gift cards.

5 ★ I just love this app. Not sure about the negative reviews but if you do your research you'll see that this company is a sponsor of NaNoWriMo. To me that's good enough to know that the app is legit. And contrary to what the reviews say, you can cash out for gifts, gift cards and PayPal. Maybe at first it was all charity but there many payment options now.

5 ★ I've read 'The Secret Garden' and found it an easy read even though it is on my phone, a medium I usually don't use for reading.

5 ★ It actually paid me via PayPal! It took 3 days but they do pay. Wish the second payout didn't take so long...

1 ★ This app worked fine on my old phone. On my new one it won't even let me log in, just keeps taking me back to the front page.
