The Wellington Eye Clinic App allows you to find out more about our clinic and to discover what happens during your potential consultation and surgery. Through your own personal timeline you will find important information and short videos about our procedures that will guide you before, during and after your patient journey.
The aims of the app are:
1. To help you explore our procedures for you to decide whether they might be for you.
2. To explain what happens at a consultation, which is when you would meet a consultant to find out if you are a suitable candidate for surgery.
3. To guide you through your patient journey by explaining what to do on a daily basis, both before and after your surgery.
The Wellington Eye Clinic is a surgeon-lead practice and was founded in 1980. Since then it has performed 50,000 procedures on patients to rid themselves of their glasses and contact lenses. It was the first independent clinic in Western Europe to acquire an excimer laser, the laser used to give people freedom from their spectacles.
