Description
STM32 Finder features easy-to-use selection tools that provide you direct access to documentation, and a connection to STM32 communities. You will find the microcontroller, microprocessor or development board part number that best fit your application thanks to an easy search with multiple criteria including core type, CPU frequency, memory, price, package, I/Os, temperature grade, and peripherals such as control, timers, analog, connectivity, multimedia and security. From the application, you will also have the possibility to directly buy devices or development boards on-line.
You will have quick access to data and technical resources to support your microcontroller or microprocessor projects, including manuals such as datasheets, reference manuals, application notes, user manuals, programming manuals, or errata sheets.
While you start STM32 Finder on-line, the application and portfolio database are updated automatically and optimally, but everything will remain fully functional while you are off-line.
The application adapts automatically to the screen size and orientation.
STM32 Finder will also help you to connect with the developer communities on popular social platforms such as Facebook™, YouTube™ channel, and ST Wiki and Community.

1 ★ It's been almost 3 years since the last update and you said April last year we could expect a new release soon, "Stay Tuned" come on, lift your game I am getting an error where it says I need connectivity to download the MCU list. I have connectivity and there is no problem with any other app I have which requires internet connectivity. ST need to realise that newcomers to the MCU market will be turned off your products if you have such buggy software with little to no interest in fixing it.
1 ★ Does not work. Dead as a dodo. Why is this still available at all? Better to remove from the app store than to leave a non - working lifeless chunk of code.
2 ★ Would be useful if worked properly. Unfortunately filters does not consider FD-CAN as CAN, and FD-CAN is not shown in a list of peripherals. Then for example H7 family I was interested in looks like without CAN altogether. The same issue is the Windows version of the application.
1 ★ Used to work very well, but now getting error "this app needs connectivity..." Did the certificates on the server expire?
1 ★ This potentially could be awesome but instead it's almost useless, for example can't choose anything from a dropdown like number of ADCs and keeps stuttering when scrolling (tested on pixel 4 xl)
1 ★ Can't launch the app on my phone. Edit: Tried again after 2 years. Downloading MCU takes forever. Still not able to use it.
2 ★ Dropdown menus are not working on Android 10, and the app is currently unusable. It still works OK on my old Android 6 mobile.
1 ★ Dropdown list menus don't work! What I think causes the problem is off-standard screen aspect ratios. My old phone with a 16:9 display worked fine. I have tried this app on 4 newer devices (18:9 phone, 19.5:9 phone, 16:10 tablet, 18:9 tablet), but I wasn't able to select anything from the dropdown menus on any of them. This should get fixed as the whole parametric MCU finding feature is broken.
3 ★ Overall the app is great, although advanced search functionality is hampered by the fact dropdown boxes do not allow any selections (bug?), however sliders and checkboxes work as intended. With that said, parametric and part search are practically useless without dropdown support. In app documentation for parts and applications is excellent.
1 ★ So I was in bed half asleep, and I was thinking I really needed an mcu with dual CAN bus. I then thought, it would be cool if I could use an app to find it instead of messing with poorly mobile optimized websites. I was really happy when I found this app, but it crashes immediately at startup. EDIT: the developer replied to my comment a year later, I tried to install the app again, it still crashes as soon as you launch it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1 ★ Don't bother, doesn't launch on galaxy S10+. Same as all the other reviews. Disappointed
1 ★ It's crashed on first start even on Android One phone Nokia 5. Please try to create good mobile applications, at least works on all the devices, try new software technologies like Flutter or React Native for better user experience and cross platform apps and then forget the old techs like Cordova etc.

1 ★ ST forces you to run an app to select products while others have this functionality on the website. Then to add insult to injury, on Android it crashes before it ever starts.
