5 ★ Trackman contacted me to help sort this out. Have been really helpful. Even called me when emailing proved difficult due to work commitments. Thank you guys Just spent 2hrs up the range. Wanted to get my distances. My screen kept timing out, just about kept it going for the clubs in my bag. Just after the last shot screen completely timed out. Opened screen to find the app restarting and all data not saved. Surely you should be able to use the app and the screens in the bay together.
3 ★ Limited functionality. I have used Trackman at my golf club. On my PC I download my files but I cannot see Trajectory so I was advised to download this app. Guess what I still cannot see trajectory which is disappointing. This app offers limited functionality so not much use unless you don't own a computer
1 ★ Half of the activities never show on the app, only on the website in a pretty useless "dynamic" report. No trajectory information available afterwards either.
1 ★ Continually crashes on Oxygen 11.2 Won't scan QR code, play on range just shows app crashing all the time
4 ★ One thing I would love to see added is if it could pinpoint the bay you were using at the range when you look back at your sessions.
5 ★ Great app, but how come it isn't compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite Tablet?
1 ★ You can't delete shots so of I'm trying to find my distance and duff a shot it skews all the results, you can't delete actives. I got a phone call halfway through an activity and it lost all my results. Would be nice to have a wedge option where you can select your swing. Overall it's pretty useless
3 ★ I'm knocking this review down a notch for a few reasons. First of all, it seems to be a bit flaky with tracking each ball. I hit 102 balls yesterday and it recorded only 62 of those shots. There were periods where it wouldn't track 4 -6 balls in a row. The trackman reporting is disappointing as well. When you're on the range it will visually display your ball's flight path on the map and give you a near instant reading of where it landed. Afterwards though, when you look at the report, there's no map, nothing visual to look at, nothing. It's just a graph of the numbers of each shot. That's pretty lame. It's difficult to glean useful information easily. Even past that though, there's basically no options with the data. You can share it, but you can't easily export it to put it in excel and look at it. Their dynamic report thing doesn't allow you to sort by column. For example, I'd like to see shots in order from longest to shortest. There's no way to do this in the app or on their web portal. If you want to do anything other than look at the data your best bet is to copy and paste into excel or something. Disappointing. Exportable data to CSV or excel would be great.
5 ★ The experience is much better than it was at launch. It seems like a mostly effective tool for judging distance at ranges that have this enabled. It is easy to set up, as long as you choose the correct bay, and it doesn't require any other user input. I brought an iPhone 11 Pro with me because the reviews did not seem convincing, but my Pixel 3 worked very well. The numbers seemed a bit off but it was also 45° and windy. I'm not sure what is taken into account to calculate distance.
3 ★ Potential to be great. The data it gives is great, dispersion data etc. Doesn't give face to path angle though. Biggest problem is that it doesn't currently save your session data to review at a later date. The reports feature doesn't work. This is actually the best feature to have but it's broken
1 ★ Drove out my way to go to one of these ranges. I believe the mark up of balls was approx 3x the price of my normal range which is closer to me. But, the app looked cool and wanted to give it a go. Got to the range, paid £7 for 40 balls, went to my bay, app couldn't connect. I think the ranges lose out more than Trackman so extra thumbs down, as i, and i presume many others won't return for fear of paying for a service not being delivered.
5 ★ Pretty cool App to use when you are visiting a range with a TrackMan installation. There is a practice mode allowing you to group shots by club. Select targets to get information about how far away from it your shots are and more. The games are fun too, with capture the flag being my favorite as it is more competitive than the others. All in all a great experience.
3 ★ Its alright🤔. But I suggest that you make a way to add clubs to your bag from inside the game I have tried a lot of times. Please fix that🤨!
2 ★ 1. I don't understand why there isn't a "find my distance" option at the range, and so I have to be connected to the app to get my distances in "my bag" and therefore can't see the data on the screens. 2. Why can't practice sessions also count towards my bag as practice on the range is the only option on the trackman screens. 3. Why can't we see shot by shot tables like on the my trackman website. 4. App timeout when trying to load some practice rounds of 70+ shots. I've ran out of characters.
2 ★ The app itself is amazing when you're using it at the range. It tracked all of my balls and the user interface is slick and intuitive. The problem is I can't create an account on my android device and it seems like other users have had this issue for a while. Disappointing.
