Deezer: Music & Podcast Player 8.0.28.4 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to change the Z-order of tasks.

3 ★ Longtime daily Deezer user! I love making playlists and can usually find anything I am searching for. The artist support is amazing. With the new update, everything seems to take much longer to load even after clearing cache. The playlist info is no longer available (example - length of playtime). It's a fun new design but I am kind of losing interest.

4 ★ It's my favorite music app, but I really dislike the new look, I preferred the previous one, which looked more sleek. The new one just looks bulky, and it's quite ugly to me. The rounded edges on everything give it a bulging look . The desktop app displays too much on one screen, I don't need the invasive sidebar displayed wherever I go on the app. Maybe add an option to hide it?

3 ★ What I like: Deezer supports artists better than Spotify The interface is easy to use (it's basically Spotify) No problems with the app What I don't like: There's nothing about Deezer that makes it stand out. It doesn't provide better playlist management than Spotify, no play/skip counts, no better ways to sort songs. It'll also update you with new music from ANY bands in your playlists. The algorithmic music selection isn't great. I still have to go to Pandora to find new music I like.

3 ★ Good app, but it needs to have the ability to have offline lyrics and a way to add songs to your library via mobile! Would be 5 stars with those changes. EDIT for update Nov 2023: The app has been redesigned a bit for aesthetic reasons but now there is an annoying gap between the player and the bottom bar which means you may accidentally change the song while trying to expand the player. Using developer options and selecting "show layout bounds" you can see this gap. Deezer pls fix this.

2 ★ team deezer, I love yall but you gotta fix this new update. It sucks that I can't shuffle all the songs that I've downloaded and favourited at once. it's small but that was a dope feature. Also, I can't go on an album and do that slide thing at the to of the album page to see details about the album anymore (duration, release date etc). I have so many more notes but they can't fit here. Just please hurry up and tweak this thing. Lobe yall!

3 ★ I use this as a podcast player. A couple of things I wish they'd fix: the widget doesn't work as intended. It only says "open Deezer". It doesn't show what I'm listening to. I can click on the widget & it opens Deezer but I can also do that w/ the icon so the widget is useless. Also, when in the pulldown menu for what's playing, I can't skip forward/ahead. It only gives me a play button. So then I have to open Deezer to skip forward in my podcast. Asking daily if I want to upgrade sucks too.

3 ★ honestly getting a bit annoyed with the app especially after the new layout was implemented. they disabled a bunch of features when youre using chromecast, like removing songs from the queue or shuffling a playlist. additionally, i cant go back in the song through the lock screen. considering going back to tidal even though it also has its quirks. the new UI feels too chunky almost, and i miss seeing the stats on my playlists like how long they were.

3 ★ Since I updated yesterday, the app doesn't fully launch. It's stays on a black screen with only the update version build at the bottom. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but it's the same. I'm hoping this only temporary and I'll be able to use the app again. **Update** I can now use the app, I signed in through the Internet browser which launched the app successfully. Idk about the new look, and some features that I like are no longer available. It could get better over time I hope.

3 ★ The app is fine, you don't get the hi def music unless you pay but that was expected. It seemed OK. I deleted the app though due to the amount of trackers I noticed. It was significantly higher than other music apps that I've seen. The app didn't impress me enough to overcome that part.

1 ★ The removal of the "shuffle my music" button is a major strike against the app. It still works in desktop but has been removed from the app. Flow and"shuffle my favorite tracks" are not a sufficient replacement. If this function isn't returned by the time my subscription is up for renewal I will find another music service.

5 ★ Great sound mixing and optimization. We ran some tests on our car sound systems between this, Spotify, and YouTube Music. "Time" on the others sounded alright. On Deezer, it sounded like we were driving in a clocktower. They have an extensive catalogue, but no Joe Rogan, so at least Spotify has that over Deezer. I liked YouTube music because it was included with YouTube premium, but an ad blocker fixes that problem.

1 ★ any time I cast music from deezer, the 4x1 widget on my home screen disappears . then I have to restart the phone in order to get that widget back, only to most it once more. Speed and reliability of the app are terrible compared to Spotify, especially regarding casting. the only reason I have this POS app is because the HIFI is way more affordable than Tidal

5 ★ ex Spotify user here. If you don't want to directly support Spotify, or the 3 out of control monopolies (Google, Amazon or Apple), Deezer is the best. it pays artists better than Spotify, has higher quality audio, and it's overall underrated and punching well above its weight. Deezer was the best replacement for Spotify (i tried Apple music, but they don't care about Android, and the app was bare bones)

4 ★ really good, 2 little gripes, not all my favorite artists music is uploaded on here, the playlist on the app auto scrolls to the title area or puts the first song at the top of the screen, so its impossible to scroll down just a little and i have to readjust my hand position to click the first song on the list. but mainly my favorite venjent songs dont seem to be in the library anywhere

3 ★ Up until four updates ago it was working fine, now I can't edit my playlists. To be clearer, when I try to edit my playlist, rearrange the order of songs in any of my playlists their order stays the same after I save the rearranged playlist, it shows that the song is in a different position in the playlist, but when I save nothing changes .I fixed the problem by sorting my favorites list on a default setting, then I could edit it freely like before.Hope this helps other users with similar issues
