Description
1. Automatic triggering of an emergency call
Thanks to the latest technologies of the accident reporting connector detects an impact of your vehicle and automatically triggers an accident report in our Service Center. This valuable information is included, such as severity of the crash and your location, which can be lifesaving in certain circumstances. Our service center is made up initially by telephone immediately with you and clarify the next steps, such as the use of emergency services with you. we are not reaching you by phone, we expect a serious traffic accident involving injuries from and send independently rescuers to the scene.
2. Manually triggering of an emergency call
Is there a serious accident and want to manually make an emergency call or report a breakdown, then you can also do this manually trigger on the AXA UMD app. Directly on the Start screen, you can select "Request Rescue" between and "help accident / breakdown". In both cases, the app uses our Service Center and arrange for rapid on-site help.
For the AXA UMD app is working, you need the corresponding plug accident reporting and registration data. Both can be obtained from us, unless you additionally agree on the additional services of the accident reporting service with us. App permissions
