IRCTC Rail Connect 4.2.28 APK requires following permissions:

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

1 ★ Nowadays it doesn't open at all. Just remains stuck at the opening page. Edit: After I allowed notifications (which I had turned off), it started working. And the reason it was off because it displays ads of private companies through push notifications. Today I got a notification endorsing a real estate builder. This is really pathetic. I've never seen a single app forcing users to see unrelated notifications for using the app. And this from a public entity. Still 1 star!

4 ★ For a government app, this is surprisingly good. Taking away one star because of one major bug - the app freezes and remains stuck on the opening screen if you disable notifications for irctc. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out. So the solution is - if you've disabled notifications, please remember to enable them for this app whenever you need to use the app.

2 ★ Now the latest update version is worst not able to select station, when you click on the select station it is just showing message as fetching details and after that it says could not getting data which is pathetic. Devlopment team please resolve this issue, we have observed this issue in multiple phones with different user IDs, so there is something worng with the application.

1 ★ I tried to OFF the notifications of the application so that I won't get disturbed unwantedly with their useless provoking ads. But whenever i turn OFF the notification, application got strucked while launching. This is the worst bug or feature i had ever seen in long term developed application. Do look into this and sort it out. Now its working after your update, will try to recreate it for somedays. Thanks for the UPDATE.

1 ★ Whenever I start the app, at the time of entering the name of the station to book the ticket, there is only buffing and automatically exits the app. This problem has been happening to me for more than a month, I have updated the app.but nothing work same to same problem Enable to retrieve data please try again This massage comes after the exits apps.

1 ★ WORST APP TO EVER EXIST... A FAILED Product. Often the App crashes when you enter the OTP to complete transaction. The Train Search option is so pathetic that It gets stuck showing FETCHING DETAILS... This App doesn't even deserve single Star. No big change even after 10 years. This app is not for ticket booking. It is just for asking multiple captchas. The whole process of Booking is completely outdated and obsolete...

2 ★ UI really good but as Experience I will say it worst. It has floating and pop-up ads in it. Whenever you log in or either search, you will get annoying ads. If it's railway ads, no problem but it's not even railway ads it's like old time when you download apps for free you will get ads with it if you don't have subscription it's like that.

3 ★ The app works well... when it works. The past few times I've had to uninstall and install the app several times because after a few uses, there comes a time when I open the app and it remains on the loading page in the beginning with the logo. I wait for 5 minutes, it still doesn't open. Then I realise it's time for me to reinstall the app, which is quite cumbersome. But when it opens up, the app is quite good and user-friendly.

1 ★ I am using Mi Redmi Note 9 Pro phone and since the last update I am not able to book tickets. When I reach the booking page and try to select from the station it does not give me the page to select the station, the response gets stuck and infinite with the message 'Loading details' A popup loads for some time and shows an error. If I uninstall the application and reinstall it, it works fine for a while but then the same error appears again.

1 ★ God knows what's wrong with this app. It allows to search trains just for once. After that it only shows "fetching details" followed by "can't connect right now". M connected to a well running wifi. Tried uninstall- reinstall but nothing is working 😡 It's so irritating.

1 ★ The IRCTC train ticket booking app is an absolute disaster. It's slow, unreliable, and constantly crashes. Don't even bother trying to use it. Using the IRCTC train ticket booking app is a nightmare. It's filled with glitches and errors, making it nearly impossible to complete a booking without encountering multiple issues. Taking 5 mins for validating user for tatkal reservation. Is it good???? When this application upgrade????

1 ★ Garbage app, you should hire better developers for this, who really know how to optimize an app. Very laggy UI and useless ads. There is always a transaction failure atleast once in a while, although the money gets refunded afterwards. It is sad to know that, this app was first released in 2017 and even after 6-7 years, it is still bad. Instead of adding more features, focus on optimization first.

1 ★ I had the terrible experience with the updated version, I am using mi redmi note 7 phone and since last update I am not able to book the ticket. When I reach on the booking page after authentication and try to select the from station it doesn't give me the page to select the station the response become stuck and a popup loads for infinite time with message 'loading fetching details'. After few minutes response again render on the home page of the application(page that comes after login).

1 ★ The best app created for fooling the passengers. No matter if you try to connect through a 4Gbps internet connection or try to login directly through the servers, the ticket booking experience will remain abysmal. It is dead slow and over the years even tatkal booking experience remains a nightmare. Alas, there has been no improvement whatsoever. Thanks IRCTC.

1 ★ There are a lot of bugs in the App Sometimes when I need to search Station name while booking it does not allow me even when I have 300mbps internet connection. It shows unable to retrieve data. IRCTC please fix this issue. I am using this app since 5 years and it's the best app for Booking train tickets online. Only the thing needed is need to Remove the bugs and Increase the server so that any person online also can book ticket easily in TATKAL and Improve User Interface like redrail bad 😞😞
